My health insurance journey in Germany as an expat has been nothing but great thanks to Mirja and her team. I was recommended to talk to Mirja by another expat when I was having trouble with my statutory health insurance. I was desperate but she gave me very useful advice, and I managed to get out of the difficult situation. What I appreciate the most is their agility and honesty. They are always there whenever I have questions and they answer them in a straightforward way. Mirja and her team go above and beyond to help you evaluate your insurance options and understand the German insurance landscape. She has helped my husband and I choose what insurance would be best for us based on our lifestyle: factors such as how long we plan to stay in Germany and if we foresee having any children greatly influence this insurance decision and Mirja helped us make an informed decision to save us money and provide the best care. Beyond selecting the policy, her team communicates continual guidance, such as sharing important changes to the insurance eligibility requirements. Mirja and her team even help in understanding German healthcare paperwork, and scheduling troublesome appointments. KLforExpats have greatly eased our troubles in settling into Germany, and she and her team are a great resource for expats.

Mirja was really professional and gave great advise. Together we were able to adjust my plan to suit my needs. She was also a great help in working out small hickups in the process and helping to cancel previous insurance and such. Can highely recommend KL!

I don't write reviews often and I don't give out praise easily, but this was probably the best service experience I've received while in Germany. Mirja and her team are attentive to my questions, helped me understand health insurance, and even replied to me on weekends when I don't expect them too. Honestly, would recommend using them!

Having watched the IamExpat webinar, I contacted Mirja directly via the link provided. I was particularly impressed with Mirja's knowledge of the system, especially as my situation was a bit unusual. She explained everything clearly, and provided advice on solutions. She also was not pushy or trying to sell anything unnecessary - she really seemed to care about what was best for my situation. I would highly recommend Mirja and KLforExpats. I am now more at ease with my planning, knowing that I received expert advice.

It gave me a lot of stress to even think about the formalities of signing a private health insurance contract (especially that I don't speak German), but happily, I've asked Mirja and KLforExpats for help. From the very beginning of our conversations, I've felt taken care of, as Mirja asked me about my needs and requirements for the insurance. She was extremely responsive, polite, and helpful each step of the way. I was presented with a variety of options, each described in detail. I especially liked the fact that we were able to sign all of the documents digitally, so I did not need to print and send any contracts. I recommend services provided by KLforExpats with all my heart, it will save you a lot of time, money (as they negotiate on your behalf, it's especially important if you have any preconditions) and stress. Thanks Mirja for your hard work, you've made my process of moving to Germany much easier!
