adamroe. is a one-person web studio in Milton Keynes. I build websites, look after them once they are live, and do the search work that gets them found. You talk to whoever does the work, because there is nobody else, and there is no account layer
...
between your brief and the build.
Websites. I build on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Shopify, and choose the platform your team can actually run rather than the one I prefer. Every build has a fixed price, agreed in a written scope before any work starts, and every price is published on my website so you can check it before you call. That covers new sites, redesigns, online shops, and moving an existing site to a new platform without losing what it already ranks for.
After launch. I can host and update the site, keep it backed up and put it right when something breaks, or hand it over with everything you need to run it yourself. Either way the domain is registered in your name, and if you ever leave, everything comes with you.
Search and accessibility. SEO audits, local SEO, technical SEO and monthly fixes, written up in plain English with the work in the order it is worth doing. Accessibility audits against WCAG 2.2 AA, with every failure explained and what to change.
Agencies. I also work white-label for agencies that need a developer to deliver builds, implement designs or pick up a project that has stalled.
I have been building websites since I was fifteen, and spent the last five years doing it professionally: running a company's own website, its clients' sites, and the search work across both. Based in Milton Keynes and happy to meet locally, working with businesses across the UK.
