We booked a Kilimanjaro tour and a safari through AFROMAXX. We were thrilled with the Kili tour - professional guides, the chemistry was right and one noticed the many years of experience. We also liked the safari, but overall it was a bit behind the Kili tour. All in all, we are very satisfied with the provider, the communication and the handling and also with the price-performance ratio.

Afromaxx did the planning of our honeymoon for us. From the very beginning, our contact person Daniela was very competent, eager and absolutely professional. We relied on her completely and were able to concentrate on the wedding.
Particularly noteworthy is that Daniela was available for us 24/7 and always responded extremely quickly.

Many thanks dear Afromaxx team and especially Daniela! If such a trip should happen again, we will definitely come back to you! :)

The preparation and execution of my Kilimanjaro trip to Stella Point 5756 NN was very well organized and I am very satisfied. Especially the accompaniment by the experienced mountain guide Jackson I would like to mention here again and recommend. Even if it became difficult from 5.000 NN he encouraged me against the strong wind and the cold to go further up and to fulfill my dream of climbing the highest African mountain.

We have been traveling as a small group (2 couples) in Tanzania. The choice of accommodation was excellent, we were very satisfied! The course of the safari was super planned and organized.
Our guide was very competent and helpful.

We enjoyed our 7-day Kilimanjaro climb from start to finish. Our guides could not have been more professional and the whole team had a very pleasant atmosphere. We were well looked after all round and there was never a shortage of fun. The porters do a great job and make the ascent possible in the first place. It was therefore important to us that they were also appropriately remunerated. That's why we decided to travel with Afromaxx, even though a climb would certainly have been cheaper. It was definitely worth it and we won't forget this trip in a hurry!

We are back from our Tanzania trip (6 days safari in the national parks in northern Tanzania and then relaxation on Zanzibar) and would like to thank the Afromaxx team for this great trip, the many impressions and information as well as the good organization.
The team organized everything perfectly and answered all questions/uncertainties (especially regarding Corona) quickly and competently. Our safari guide Charles told us a lot about his country and answered all our questions. He is a careful driver and a very friendly, humorous young man. With his knowledge, charm and smile, he made the safari an unforgettable experience.
The animals in the national parks were really close enough to touch, the parks were not yet heavily frequented and the accommodation exceeded all expectations.

Bei der Beratung und Durchführung von unserem Urlaub, in Tansania waren wir sehr zufrieden. Sehr angenehm war die Safari, da unser Fahrer sehr gut deutsch spricht und uns auch über die Vögel und Pflanzen alles sehr gut auf deutsch erklären konnte.
Eine Reise über Afromaxx zu buchen, kann ich nur empfehlen.

- Es gab viel zu viel Essen (leider meistens auch bereits kalt) auf den Hütten bei der Besteigung. Ich hoffe, dass dieses nicht weggeworfen wurde, sondern unter den Guides verwendet wurde.
- der von Afromaxx geliehene Schlafsack (2 Stück) wurden leider bei der Wanderung durch Regen nass. Die (doppelte) Hülle scheint hier nicht mehr 100% dicht zu sein. Ein Aushängen/Belüften nach Gebrauch wäre wünschenswert. Rochen teilweise etwas fischig.
- am Gipfeltag muss sehr viel Weg zurückgelegt werden. Eine eventuell zusätzliche Übernachtung wäre wünschenswert
- der letzte Abstieg zum Gate dauert sehr lange. Hier wäre eine Lunchbox sehr hilfreich gewesen, da seit dem Frühstück bis zum Ankunft im Gate nichts mehr gegessen wird. Man freut sich dann eigentlich bereits aufs Hotel und eine Dusche und fährt beim Gate extra noch essen, obwohl es im Hotel eh etwas geben würde.
