There was a detailed pre and post consultation with Dr. Ho and he also took my fears very seriously. The entire practice staff was extremely attentive and friendly, I felt very well looked after and cared for. I have never had such a relaxed MRI before. A detailed discussion of the findings also took place afterwards. I found Dr. Ho to be a particularly empathetic and committed doctor who has a genuine interest in people and in good diagnostics and is even happy to contribute ideas on how to proceed.
Only the waiting time of 1 hour before the examination was a little long for me, especially as I was very nervous. However, the particularly good treatment absolutely made up for this. I would gladly have further examinations carried out here again. Thank you, Dr. Ho and team!

Despite the appointment, I waited over 1.5 hours for the examination. I was not the only one who reacted very disgruntled to the mismanagement. The receptionist was helpful and provided drinks.

The examination itself was conducted by friendly staff and there was nothing to complain about.

Due to the time delay, I asked for a telephone consultation with the doctor. Unfortunately, the radiologist has not contacted me to date despite two telephone inquiries.

Based on a very good, preparatory consultation by the specialist, I was prepared for the MRI and very well looked after by the medical specialist throughout. Immediately after the examination, I was accompanied by the specialist and the specialist during the follow-up of the MRI. The evaluation discussion with the specialist was very detailed, very profound and all questions were answered comprehensively. In my opinion, the possibility of obtaining further specialist expertise from the Arista network regarding my specific clinical picture made it possible to derive a particularly accurate overall assessment. I felt that I was in very good hands at all stages of the treatment.

All the staff are extremely friendly and courteous, so you can easily tolerate waiting times of 30 minutes or longer.
Time is taken for the patients, even for the discussion of findings, which is not 100% calculable.
Everyone also seems very competent and patient-oriented.

In 1997, a third of my left kidney was removed due to a kidney stone that was unfortunately no longer detectable. After the operation, I began a period of suffering that lasted almost 26 years. As a result of the operation, I had constant pressure pain in my left flank. When I moved or breathed deeply, I had hellish, cutting pain. My suspicion over all these years was possible adhesions due to the operation. I also experienced dizziness, insomnia and excessive nervousness. I was sent from doctor to doctor for 26 years. Countless examinations such as MRI, CT or sonographic examinations were carried out. Unfortunately without a concrete diagnosis. Through research on the Internet, I then discovered that adhesions cannot be detected at all using normal imaging methods.
Thanks to a fellow sufferer on the Internet, who had gone through roughly the same odyssey as me, I found out that adhesions can be detected with the help of a cine-MRI. Cine MRI means that the MRI is carried out with movement, for example by breathing in and out deeply, and can therefore show the organs in motion.
I came across the ARISTRA practice by chance and told Dr. Michael Ho about my symptoms. He is very emphatic and for the first time during my long period of suffering I had the feeling that someone was really listening to me and taking my complaints seriously. Only a short time later, I had an appointment to have this special cine-MRI. I was in the machine for about 1.5 hours and had to move my organs on command by breathing in and out deeply. Afterwards, I had a very detailed conversation in which everything was explained to me very clearly. It turned out that the operated kidney is obviously firmly attached to the posterior thoracic wall and the iliopsoas (hip flexor) by adhesions. It is good to finally have a diagnosis and possibly the prospect of being able to loosen the adhesions through a minimally invasive procedure and thus get a life worth living again.

Received bad advice. Although I informed the doctor before the examination that a loosening or inflammation of the left knee should be investigated, an MRI was carried out. The result was not satisfactory.
