Aviation Hero

Thanks to Aviation Hero's training, I feel well prepared for the BZF exam. The initial reading/self-study through clear video material for the basic structure of the knowledge was quite entertaining, as the important aspects, despite the underlying rather dry subject matter, gave even those without much previous knowledge like me a great introduction to the subject of aviation law. The exciting phase was then the 2 weeks of group training (3 evenings per week) with increasing requirements (approaches and departures in German, English, emergency reports, SVFR) up to the exam simulation.
I am currently still very happy to take part in the refresher training courses before my upcoming exam and will probably continue to use them after the exam to keep up with the material.

Well-structured introduction to prior theoretical knowledge. In the coaching phase, even absolute beginners are patiently introduced to the "hard" practice. Overall, a good, constructive working relationship.

First of all, I am very enthusiastic about the BZF Mastery from Aviation Hero. The main motivation for signing up was that I wanted to learn to fly. So I started with the PPL flight training before I signed up here. Of course, the second motivation was to pass the BZF I exam. The price is high and I briefly considered/weighed up between self-study with watching YouTube videos or taking part in this course. After completing the course and passing the exam, I have to say quite clearly that the decision to do the BZF course with Aviation Hero was absolutely right. The material is very well structured and the practical exercises are great. It's also very helpful that the trainers in the refresher courses keep changing. After all, you don't know which examiner will be sitting in front of you before the exam. Each trainer contributes their experience and you are really well prepared for the exam. And, after the course, the sparking in practice is also much more fun :-)

The coaching phase and the refresher training sessions before the exam were great in order to be well prepared and feel confident going into the BZF exam.

I would like to get my BZF radio operator's license. At Aviation Hero I have found a good mix of video material for self-study and practical exercises. I feel well prepared and relaxed going into the exam.

Before I got to know Aviation Hero, my impression was that flying training and education was rather old-fashioned. However, the team showed me that this doesn't have to be the case: Training platform, WhatsApp groups, Calendly, summary PDFs, screen sharing and recordings, Paypal, discussion platform.
This was paired with instructive videos to learn the theory and then competent trainers in the coaching phase, who trained the approaches and departures with us step by step in German and English and prepared us for "real life" (and of course the exams) with special situations. The concept is really good and we can continue to attend refresher courses after the coaching phase to keep our knowledge and language skills up to date. This helps a lot for the exam and for gaining confidence in sparking.

The lessons are really fun and extremely interesting and entertaining... the videos and download options are perfect for learning.
I think the refresher courses are really brilliant.
After the course you are not left to your own devices.
The instructors teach the material in a super friendly and fun way.
The "fellow students" are also super friendly.
So from my point of view, thumbs up in every respect and full recommendation.

Aviation Hero is really top in every respect!

The structure of the course is great - you get immediate access to all the learning materials for the BZF, which are available in video format and as a handout to prepare for the live sessions.

The live sessions took place 3 times a week in the evening for 2 hours each time. This was ideal for me to internalize what I had learned after each session and apply it the next time. The sessions were also recorded so that you could practise again afterwards, understand mistakes better and get to grips with the vocabulary. In the sessions, the trainers also prepared us for all kinds of "traps" in the exams, such as a 9 in the transponder code or special questions that examiners like to ask. At the end of the sessions, we practiced an exam simulation, which was really helpful! I was more relaxed on the day of the exam because I had the feeling that I had already done it once. The trainers all had a lot of patience and humor, which made the whole thing much more relaxed. I was looking forward to all the sessions!

After my exam simulation, some time passed before my actual exam date. I then took a break for a few weeks and then signed up again for the refresher sessions, where you can repeat everything again in small groups. To be honest, after a few weeks I had the feeling that I had forgotten a lot. I then wrote to my group with whom I had the sessions back then and one of them was able to share our session recordings with me again. I watched one of them and was back in the swing of things. The next day I went to the refresher training and felt super confident again afterwards! It's also really nice that the group helps and encourages each other even after the sessions are over! The trainers are also always there to help if you need it!

If I don't practise the radio regularly, I'm out of it super quickly, which is a shame because it's supposed to be something that happens automatically and on the side rather than requiring full concentration. Aviation Hero really allows you to keep practicing with the refreshers until it's just in your long-term memory and you feel confident.

I am really happy with my decision to use Aviation Hero and would come back to you at any time!

I have registered for the BZF Mastery as a pedestrian. The colleagues from my club, where I will do my LAPL training, recommended that I take the BZF before starting. So I started with 0 knowledge and the course not only prepared me perfectly for the exam itself but also gave me the necessary basic knowledge in a very clear way. The patience of the instructors, who were also very responsive to practical questions, also helped. In the end, I felt very well prepared for the exam.
As there were already enough high-quality videos on YouTube from Aviation Hero, I had no major doubts. The price is also okay if you compare the offer with others on the market. Here you get weekly refreshers for up to a year before the exam.
The exam was correspondingly easy and I passed with a good result, so I can recommend the course to anyone who wants to prepare for the BZF on their own.

Well organized and good training material

The videos before the live coaching sessions made it easy to get into sparking even without any prior knowledge. Due to the live coaching sessions, everything was taken up again in detail and conveyed in a way that was easy to understand.

I will always have fond memories of Aviation Hero. I found out that Heinz takes a lot of time to look after and advise his customers and interested parties personally. The practice was nevertheless challenging and difficult in the first session, but the constructive feedback from the coaches meant that I learned something new every time.

I can only recommend Aviation Hero. The guys train really professionally and the BZF exam feels like a walk in the park. The cool thing is that we can now continue training until we feel really fit for the practice.
