In 20 years of management and HR work, I have reviewed over 11,000 application documents and conducted over 4,000 interviews. In the process, I have sat across from a wide variety of people. I am just as familiar with the challenges of the... candidates as I am with the demands as an employer. These years have not only shown me how great the need for job application training is. My network also regularly moans about how poorly prepared applicants are and how little they can present themselves.
In my coaching and training sessions, I have noticed time and again that women in particular often find it difficult to reconcile their private and professional lives and to pursue their desires and needs - if they are aware of them at all. Chronic exhaustion, great self-doubt and a lack of resilience are often the result.
Countless conversations with my employees and clients have also shown that it is usually not enough to just focus on the career path. Very often, other issues from private life need to be addressed in order to lead a happier and more content life.
Especially female executives or professionals with special responsibilities often find themselves in a quandary emotionally and frequently reach their limits.
Therefore, it is a special concern of mine to support women in recognizing themselves, accepting themselves in their strengths and talents and marketing themselves accordingly in order to go through (professional) life happy and satisfied.
My clients basically receive training from me from practice for practice, coupled with many other useful tips and tricks for the further path. I pick up the clients where they are at the moment and support them in their integration into the job market or in their change processes.

The complete program was perfectly tailored to me, every module fit exactly. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, what I loved, what I liked. Why do I always have jobs that don't fulfill me? I was able to experience and apply all of this with Claudia. Don't search for years but contact Claudia and live the life you can imagine.
Life is too short, act right now and accept help, accepting help is a strength!
Thank you very much that I got to know Claudia Grund and see a way again and know what I enjoy.
I feel like my life again and I am excited about every day.
Before applying, a location and performance analysis is essential. Only then do you become aware of what you are, what you can do and what you want. (In my opinion, this point is often disregarded in other applicant training courses, although this makes it much easier to create an individual resume - especially if the last application was several years ago.
Likewise, the analysis of the job offer is essential in order to assess whether the offered position suits you or not.
At the heart of the application process is the question: Where do I apply as what?
It is important to say goodbye to empty words and be specific.
The "one size fits all" approach does not work. All documents must be tailored to the job offer.
A common thread is necessary in the resume. The key here is to guide the reader's eye so that he or she can grasp the job-relevant content in two to three minutes.
I got to know Ms. Gund through my employer as part of a workshop. Although we were a heterogeneous group, Ms. Gund addressed the different needs at all times so that we were all picked up. She not only answered all questions with empathy and understanding, but also put herself in the position of the special challenges of individual participants, so that they could not only follow what was happening, but also generate benefits. The exercises and facilitation were varied and involved all of us participants. Originally, I did not expect much from the workshop and felt correspondingly little motivation to participate at the beginning. Ms. Gund managed to ensure that I not only took away a lot, but also had a lot of fun. Many thanks for that.
Thanks to Ms. Gund, I no longer associate the topic of applications and job interviews "only" with stress. Thanks to her, I can go into the application process motivated and more confident and this lets me look confidently into the future!
One or the other may be a little skeptical at first, whether an application coaching in a group could be less effective than an individual coaching. However, having had one-on-one application coaching with someone else 2-3 years ago, I can say with a clear conscience that this is not the case. Because I did not leave my one-on-one coaching - as I said with another person - with increased self-confidence, quite the opposite. My one-on-one coaching at the time made me feel ashamed or even like I had to hide. If I claimed that this had not affected me negatively, I would be lying. Coming to terms with my strengths and weaknesses usually ended in despair and, according to my family, even in "self-destruction". It always cost me overcoming, even if I knew that this step was necessary to change.
The two coaching days with Ms. Gund flew by. The days were exhausting, but in a positive sense! I enjoyed the days very much, especially I took away much more than in all the hours of my first coaching 2-3 years ago. Now I finally know how to really analyze a job ad without anticipating a (de)evaluation of my person to the recruiter. But these two days gave me much more than that! Ms. Gund showed me the way to find myself again. To believe in myself and my abilities. She gave me more self-confidence and confidence, which I missed for a long time on my way through life. Through her direct manner, she showed me what really matters, and not only in professional life. Thanks to her tips and exercises, I can continue to strengthen my self-confidence and help me to always have my goals in mind and to fight for them.
Great training! The quite pictorial explanations and discussions were very helpful for me. Especially great were the great ideas for analyzing the skills, which strengthened my self-confidence. Personally, the group was a bit too large (8 participants), but Ms. Gund was still able to respond to each individual as well as possible. All in all, a successful training, thank you very much!
Hello Mrs. Gund, since the training with you, the events have actually turned over a bit. First, the lady I told you about called me back and we soon had a very good 10 minute conversation. We discussed several options, as you suggested, and we'll stay in touch. So I definitely walk out of there with a good feeling. Then I tried again to take all your tips to heart and wrote a cover letter for another very interesting position. The application went out in the morning and the next day I was contacted for an interview the next week. It can be so simple sometimes ;-)
However, what happened after that is much scarier to me. I sent out an application in the morning and was called by the manager shortly after and had an interview the next day...I'm gobsmacked. Your tips were really effective, thank you so much! Applying can be kind of fun too. In the end, events rolled over and it all happened very quickly, so I already started my new job on 2/1. So it will be a new exciting time.
Thank you very much again for the training and also the personal consultation. The training was the most useful workshop I have attended in a long time and from which I have really taken so much for myself!!!! I am sure many of my colleagues feel the same way. Have a nice weekend. Best regards, Katharina
Great applicant training with Ms. Gund! Especially helpful for me were your positive motivation and humanity. My self-confidence was strengthened by the great ideas for analyzing skills. All phases of the application were discussed and valuable tips were given. I took away so much! Applying can be really fun if you know how to do it.
For me it was a great feeling to realize that I have so many abilities that I was not even aware of. The exercises were often exhausting, but extremely helpful, the honesty and directness of Mrs. Gund super!!!
Great applicant training, I had not expected so, honestly. Especially the tips on self-marketing were very helpful, as were the many practical examples and the group work with subsequent discussion and evaluation. Gladly again, thank you very much!
- Very practice oriented
- Very professional and at the same time humorous
- Very direct and respectful
- Very good suggestions for follow-up work at home
- Content and structure adapted to the group of participants
- Many new insights, e.g. advantageous formulations for cover letter, resume and interview
Ms. Gund leads through the two seminar days in a structured and goal-oriented manner. Nevertheless, she leaves room for the participants' personal concerns, which was very helpful, because for some participants the circumstances of the job change were anything but nice. Ms. Gund's professional manner of presentation, coupled with her directness and a healthy pinch of humor had the effect that I followed the training attentively from beginning to end and took away a lot for myself - that surprised even me ;-) It could have lasted 1 day longer. Gladly again.
Straight, empathic, professional, practice-oriented. In addition, very many helpful link tips on a wide variety of topics, training and qualification opportunities - depending on your interests. Highly recommended.
Many thanks to Ms. Gund for the very inspiring coaching. We were a very large group with some difficult candidates and yet Ms. Gund managed to pick up everyone with her appreciative and at the same time very humorous and direct manner and bring them along.
Particularly helpful for me was the assistance with the red thread in both the resume and the cover letter - especially the targeted formulations in the cover letter, which bring the company and me into synergy, were an eye-opener for me and will raise my application to a new level in the future. Thank you very much for this!
I have already attended 2 job application trainings and devoured some reading on the subject of job applications. I was positively surprised by Ms. Gund's training, because it is extremely different from the previous ones. Ms. Gund challenges and encourages the participants and makes them move out of their comfort zone without overtaxing them. Despite her directness, she is very sensitive and leads through the seminar in a lively and humorous way. It was a lot of fun and very entertaining. In the meantime, I have already implemented some of her tips and lo and behold: I have already received 2 invitations for my 3 new applications; one is still pending. Many, many thanks for this - very happy to do it again!
It is amazing what a professional sees and notices at first glance. Although I was of the opinion that my resume already showed a lot of content from my career, Ms. Gund was still able to spontaneously give me a lot of suggestions to highlight my expertise and show the common thread.
The training with Ms. Gund was very entertaining and humorous - I had expected 2 long days and was proven wrong. The group was integrated a lot, so that we were all attentive and enjoyed it and all could always learn something, even when it was the turn of another participant.
Thanks again to Ms. Gund for the great training and the many tips and tricks. Self-marketing is really fun for me now! :-)
You are the best!
It was not only a lot of fun to be trained by you for 2 days. The tips you gave me and us out of turn were also worth their weight in gold.
There should be many more coaches like you.
I am grateful to have attended a training by you, Claudia Gund. With you I have rediscovered my special qualifications and skills as well as interests. I experienced you with empathy and professionalism and would recommend you anytime. Thank you so much for the wonderful training in every way.
Stay as wonderful as you are. All the best.
