My MG4 Luxury, which was delivered in July 2023, obviously has software problems. After an initial update in November 2023, it was no better. As the list of defects grew longer and longer, I asked for a new appointment at the beginning of December, which I could only get for January 15, 2024 for capacity reasons. On this day, my complaints were recorded, but at the same time I was told that there would be no qualified employee available to deal with the matter in the next few days/weeks. I went back home with the promise that the garage would call me as soon as they could. 10 days later, the garage called back and recommended that I speak to the salesman at the time, who was very familiar with the car. He said that he could certainly help me with a remote diagnosis, because it was probably just an operating error. During the phone call, the salesman offered to take the car to Bernau for another software update.
However, I didn't want to drive this long distance. So I called Hohenschönhausen again on January 30 and asked to speak to the service manager responsible. Unfortunately, this was not possible. Once again, I was promised a callback....
A vehicle that doesn't keep its promises is of no use. I had opted for the more expensive Luxury variant because of the "great software". If the problems cannot be solved, I would like to return the vehicle.
