Dear Dr. Kappes,
It was a group of presidents who hardly knew each other before the coaching sessions. Of course, all of them were willing to contribute to the success of the event, but it was your ability and your personality to establish mutual trust through the nature and content of the competent discussions that is essential in such a group. I always knew I was in good hands, and even if I found myself in the situation of having to reveal a flawed approach or not knowing how to solve a problem, I was supported; at no time did I get the impression that I was being shown up. In addition, the discussions led to the reassuring realization that the problems were similar, regardless of the different jurisdictions represented, and that the participants were not alone with their problems; the fact that the proposed solutions were not just abstract, but that their implementation was followed up in the subsequent events, provided the necessary practical relevance. The case-related change in methodology (coaching, peer counseling, etc.) adequately met our needs and the occasional refresher course, which was cleverly geared to the specific case, was of course very welcome. From my point of view, the many problem cases we discussed repeatedly confirmed my hitherto rather unconscious realization that the main problems that arise in day-to-day management are less system-related, but are almost always due to perception and communication deficits. Having been made aware of this even more clearly and sustainably and having been taught approaches to prevent these deficits from arising in the first place is something I personally take away from the coaching sessions as a great benefit.
Thank you very much for that,
Jürgen Jaenecke

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am particularly pleased that the results of the coaching seem to have a long-term effect.
