After having looked at the topic of PV from time to time for several years, we now wanted to tackle it concretely in 2023 and implement it if possible.
For various reasons, we didn't want an investment of this kind and the expected service life to be "made in China" or a company based somewhere in Germany - but which mainly hires cheap labor from abroad.
And so, after a short time, I came across the nationwide company enerix - of which there is also an "offshoot" in the neighboring town.
Company owners from the neighboring town, consultants from the district ....."they can't sell me junk if they constantly have to expect to run into us somewhere".
So 1st consultation, 2nd consultation, 3rd consultation.......our consultant had a lot of patience with me, as I had certain ideas.......based on hundreds of pages of photovoltaic forums and dozens of YouTube videos......starting from absolutely zero knowledge.
So there were various suggestions ........ over time I realized that there is no ONE TOP MANUFACTURER ...... sometimes the software is weak, sometimes the hardware, sometimes the service (according to user reports) and in the end we ended up with the components that the consultant had initially suggested.
But not persuaded but convinced!
Everything went smoothly from the start: placing the order, contacting the network operator, etc......
The installation was then planned for mid-October, but unfortunately the weather & illness put a spanner in the works....... it became mid-November, then the first snow came........ the mounting rails could still be installed, but the weather then no longer allowed the modules to be installed. The workmen were here several times, but were unable to get on the roof, mainly due to strong winds, but also frost & snow.
A really nice team - but they couldn't change the weather either. When they were able to do something, they worked cleanly and quickly.
The electrician also came in the meantime - the weather didn't matter in the cellar - also top: clean, calm working method - he knew exactly what he was doing and explained some things to me. I've read about completely different "species" on the Internet who have installed PV systems.......
Now the system is finished and running - it does what it's supposed to......, even when it's completely cloudy, there's always some electricity coming from the roof - I wouldn't have expected that.
At the end of a "home visit" there was a whole folder full of all the documents (that's also not a matter of course after everything you read and see) and finally a "final check" from our consultant.
So we are completely satisfied and hope that the technology "Made in D" will now run for a long time without any problems. Of course, we are aware that we could probably have got the whole thing a bit cheaper elsewhere, but with the service (hopefully also in the future if necessary) and the quality, it is definitely worth it to us.
So from us: "enerix Spessart" definitely recommendable !!!
