Epro is a waste of money. I wanted to study in the US and didn't know where to start. After contacting Epro and having a conversation with the head of the company (Jonas Kehrbaum), I thought they could really help me. This man is an incredibly good salesman. He says things that a customer wants to hear and makes you think that only they know how to do it right. After we paid 5.500 euro and signed the contract it went downhill. All the others who work there are in Spain and can not speak German. In itself nothing bad, but my family could not speak English, so I had to translate for them. They talk around the question, talk and talk without answering the question and take no account of my non-English speaking family; insanely unprofessional! We got the 1:1 consultation for free out of goodwill (otherwise you have to pay 3,000 euros), but it didn't help. They only filled out forms that you could have filled out yourself. We also got into a situation where no one knew what was happening, no one had answers to our questions and it sometimes took forever for them to come up with information or updates. I received my visa just under a week before my flight to the US. It turns out that Epro has a page long guide that could help us, but this guide was sent to us a few days before the trip, which turned out to be absolutely useless. This Jonas Kehrbaum also became less friendly over time, made less of an effort and generally his email responses were short and lacked content. Moreover, after about half a year after I started my studies, I found myself in a bit of a crisis. I asked them for advice and they said I was entitled to some kind of support. After several attempts to contact me, Jonas told me that this support would be a group call with other students, or students who want to study in the usa, and a staff member who has no answers to my "special situation" anyway. The 1:1 support costs another 3.000 euro. The same and useless service as before I started my trip.
Ridiculous.
I really can not recommend this "service". There are other ways to get information and the universities have a department that helps international students without such a mediation.
