I have just watched a waitress wipe a table where two ladies were about to sit down. They had to pick up their glasses ... again. How rude of the waitress ... Erm, no, she was following a process which, among other things, certainly goes in the direction of making the guests' stay a pleasant one. Why do I feel the need to share this here: before the module on processes, I probably wouldn't have noticed this. Now my thought was interesting, someone has a process and sticks to it and how have we managed to do our job for decades without clearly defined processes? We manage somehow, but the processes are not really clear.

And that was my second aha moment since Thursday. The first was caused by my boss, who explained to a colleague in my hierarchical level that I delegate upwards. I had a walking meeting with him on Wednesday, so no note-taking. Afterwards, I sent him a list of the work he took away from this meeting, some of it with deadlines. Seriously, neither would have happened before Feinherb. Especially not because I'm sure that without Feinherb I wouldn't be here in Budapest where I was able to gain these insights.

Would you recommend feinnervig to others? Absolutely. I originally published the text above almost identically in the feinherb community. However, as it describes my experience with feinherb very well, I'll simply use it as a review.

Business Coaching 1:1 with Marie was the first time I understood my new role as a manager. She has accompanied me on this path over the last few years, listened to me, steered me in the right direction and not only made me "fit" for my employees, but also paid attention to me personally. She was extremely empathetic and yet constructive as she looked at small and large knots with me and worked out solutions together with me. As a "newcomer" in a management role with a new team and many personnel and personal challenges, Marie explained to me how people function as individuals and in teams.

Last year, I was at the end of my tether in terms of ideas and strength. I had tried everything I had acquired over the years in terms of management knowledge and skills and was no longer making any progress.
