I always got quick answers to my questions. The pictures of the digitized slides (some over 50 years old) are of super quality. They bring back childhood memories.
The quality of the scans is good (it can't get any better than the original), the whole processing of the order was handled quickly and you were always kept up to date by email. The return shipment was securely packaged!
I will continue to have my slide scans done by F&G Digitalspezialist in the future.
Yours sincerely, M. Witte
It went very quickly and worked well.
The video cassettes were about 25 years old, so you can see how much has changed since then.
Every mid-range cell phone today produces better picture quality than the old video camera....
Many thanks for the good work
i can't complain. a super8 film that is in a bad condition can't be turned into fullhd quality magic ....
so I am very satisfied even though I only used the quality plus package.
The direct conversion of the double-eight films from analog to digital is difficult and in my case you succeeded quite well.
quite well: bravo! Many thanks and best regards A. Thömmes
The promised processing times and returns were flawless. The labeling of the scans and the rotation (95%) were also absolutely satisfactory. My opinion of the quality of the scans is rather ambivalent. The color fidelity of the scans of the almost twenty year old slides, which were by no means "prickly" or otherwise damaged in any way, was very good. However, the sharpness of most of the scans at 4,500 ppi left something to be desired, so that I had to do some time-consuming reworking with a special program (Sharpen 5). In a few cases, the slides had visibly not been cleaned. In view of the favorable prices and conditions (special offer) and the fast processing time, I can imagine having my slides scanned again at "digitalspezialist" despite the above-mentioned weaknesses.
Once again I have sent childhood memories to F&G - and once again I am grateful for the great work, the honest feedback when a movie can no longer be saved and the wonderful time with the movies - and the great luck to be able to experience my parents so vividly again that for a brief moment I completely forget that they are no longer here...
Time travel - and yet you are taken out of time for that moment. In short: F&G's work brings happiness :) Thank you!
It was an uncomplicated process. The telephone customer service is also great. The digitization was quick and the shipping options, both outbound and return, were very easy and convenient.
An informational phone call was not only very helpful, but also competent with a good pinch of humor. My sometimes sensitive questions, especially about the security of my photos vis-à-vis third parties, were answered objectively and convincingly.
The special offer was just right - after all, I had over 700 slides to scan.
The announced processing time was perfectly adhered to, the download worked perfectly, the original slides arrived only a short time later together with the ordered stick in the package.
The division into "scans" and "TV images" is somewhat unfortunate - I only realized late on that the distinction was made in the resolution of the images - I was unable to find out what the aim behind this was.
I have created a small photo book - the quality is excellent, slight losses in quality due to pixelation are acceptable. For me, it's worth having a reminder of old times, after all, the slides are up to fifty years old.
All in all: thank you very much for the good work!
