With the joint acceptance of construction on August 30, 2023, your construction project was completed in a professional and quality manner and free of defects. We understand your annoyance regarding the significantly extended scaffolding downtime. These circumstances were also very unpleasant for us. However, the scaffold downtime was due, among other things, to the absence of our roofing personnel due to illness and to a disproportionately long lead time for scaffold dismantling on the part of the scaffold erection company. We regret that you rate our high-quality professional and quality construction work as satisfactory due to some visually visible scaffold anchor closures. According to the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB), the sealing of scaffold anchor holes is a secondary service provided by the scaffold erection company. The decision on the type of closure is to be made by the building owner or client. The following types of closure are suitable: Closing anchor holes with plastic cover caps (driving rain-proof). In this case, the diameter of the anchor hole must be smaller than the plastic cap and must be matched in color. Furthermore, closing the anchor holes by plastering the opening with top plaster. Despite the most careful workmanship, it is not always possible to avoid the fact that closed anchor holes will be visually visible later. In particular, the lack of drying times can lead to discoloration or other visual deviations with both mineral and resin-bonded products. Unfortunately, these slightly visible deviations occurred with your facade. The deviations are very slight. We regret this!
