Jean-Marc Lober tells his life story "off the cuff", so to speak, with a lot of humor.

He gives insights into a life with Tourette Syndrome at a time when it was not yet known to many people through the media. He reports on the medical odyssey of his childhood/adolescence. He talks openly and honestly about how his family dealt with his Tourette's. He speaks just as openly of hurtful experiences and bullying in school and everyday life, but also of positive experiences. Jean-Marc Lorber says that despite everything he was always a child full of life and today he is an equally full-of-life adult and you can hear this joy in life despite all the adversities that Tourette's syndrome brings.

His extremely pleasant voice makes this audiobook a real listening pleasure. At some points, some of his tics are audible, which makes the whole thing even more authentic. The minutes fly by while listening and at the end you wish he would tell another tale from his life.

Jean-Marc Lorber has succeeded in gripping me from the first second and captivating me until the last minute.

This audio book is not only interesting for Tourette's patients and their relatives, but for everyone who is interested in life stories. It is also an encouragement for all people who are a little different and whom life has imposed a tic(k) more.
