We had a wonderful trip in Africa. We started in Windhoek and then headed north to Etosha National Park. From there we traveled along the Caprivi Strip towards Botswana. We had fantastic lodges and drove all the way to the Botswana border. An unforgettable experience, away from the main roads. The safaris in the parks were well guided with lots of beautiful animal experiences and great guides. We dropped off our car at the border with Botswana, which also went very smoothly. In Botswana we then had a private transfer to the lodge. This lodge was absolutely amazing and offered everything you could imagine. Great safaris, super food and very obliging hosts, we always felt welcome there, just like in Namibia. From Botswana, we then took a private transfer to Zimbabwe to the Victoria Falls, which are a must-see. Here, too, we always felt safe and welcome.
Our trip was simply perfect, which was mainly due to the excellent advice and choice of lodges provided by Ms. Stoß in advance. In addition, Ms. Stoß was always available for us during our trip, which gave us an additional sense of security, even though we never felt unsafe at any time. The mix of self-drive and private transfer was pleasant for us and we would do it again. We made a short detour to Spitzkoppe at the beginning, and we really enjoyed it there too.
What we found most impressive were the moments when we encountered all the animals, on safari or when we were on our own. It can't be described in words. Our trip was perfect and we can highly recommend the travel agency and especially Ms. Stoß. Thank you very much for making our trip such an unforgettable experience.

Mrs. Stoß organized our 10-day trip through the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania very well and we were lucky to experience an all-round successful and eventful vacation! Already in the long-term preparation we were introduced to the interesting country through personal and telephone conversations, sight-seeing material (and gifts we were allowed to keep), she told us about this country with great enthusiasm and explained everything we wanted to know and also gave us many good tips and suggestions 👍👋🏻👋🏻 So we were able to help shape our vacation. Our trip to Tanzania this year was already the 7th trip that "Kalahari - Afrika Spezial Safaris" has planned for us. This time, too, our individual wishes were taken into account and, based on previous discussions and feedback on previous trips, Ms. Stoß is very good at assessing what we like and what suits us. The mixture of culture, nature observations and days to relax at the end of the trip as well as the careful selection of lodges, guides, activities etc. was once again very much to our liking. You can already tell during the consultation, but especially during the trip, that all the recommendations are based on personal experience in the country itself. The enthusiasm for the African continent and the local people is also palpable in the consultations and is conveyed. Our Zimbabwe trip took us via Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park with three Imvelo camps. Each camp has its own special charm. In Jozibanini we got up close to elephants, in Nehimba we saw a great variety of animals and in Bomani the lions were close enough to touch. We were also able to get to know the community, a school and an infirmary. To round off the trip, we went to Tsowa Island, where we enjoyed the beauty of the Zambezi. At all of our accommodations, the people were very warm, open and extremely hospitable. The lodges are lovingly furnished and very comfortable. The transfers between the camps were perfectly coordinated so that we were able to enjoy the trip to the full. We would like to thank Karin Stoß for the recommendation and the great organization of our trip! These were unique experiences and moments that we will always keep in our hearts!

We booked a trip to Tanzania through Kalahari- Afrika Spezial Safaris. We started at the Maasai Camp near Kilimanjaro. There we got a great and authentic insight into the warrior culture of the Maasai and were also able to take part in it. Next, we went on safari via Arusha to the north of the Serengeti Park. At this time of year (mid-September), this part of the park was full of animals from the Great Migration: wildebeest, zebras, etc.. We were also very lucky to see a river crossing of thousands of wildebeest. All in all, a really large number of animals. At the end of our trip, we flew to Mafia Island. We had accommodation in the marine park and were able to snorkel, dive or go on other trips every day. We also swam with whale sharks. The corals were beautiful and we were usually all alone at the snorkeling spots without any other tourists.
Ms. Stoß was always at our side during our trip and tried everything to solve our problems (airline lost our luggage). Many thanks for a great trip!

She reacted very quickly when we missed our connecting flight from Munich to Windhoek, organized new accommodation for the following day and arranged everything so that we were able to start our trip late but relaxed. Our wishes were always taken into account when planning the trip and Kalahari's experience and network made it an unforgettable journey. We were guests in 5 stylishly managed lodges and camps, from where we were able to experience the Arusha, Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The location of the accommodation in magnificent scenery and "luxury", with extremely courteous and friendly staff, was always the perfect starting point or haven of peace for our safaris. Godfrey, our German-speaking guide, was the trustworthy pacemaker and driving force behind our trip. From the beginning, with the arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, to the farewell at Arusha Airport, he always gave us the feeling of reliability and security. Everything was perfectly planned and implemented. Godfrey's experience gave us wonderful moments and exciting nature experiences. We are glad to have chosen the Kalahari team. It was a very special mix - fantastic landscapes, absolutely close game viewing and enjoyment. The helicopter flight over the Vic Falls and Chundu Island were the highlights in Zimbabwe, in Mashuta Camp in Botswana the proximity to the lions, leopards and cheatahs. We even had the good fortune to see small 3 week old leopards in the wild...and last but not least, in South Africa the walking camp and the conclusion at the 3 Rondavels. We had an individual trip put together for 2 1/2 weeks. As we didn't want to drive ourselves, the transfers were made by shuttle service or private driver, which worked wonderfully. We can recommend this travel option with a clear conscience. Our itinerary took us from Windhoek via Soussusvlei to Swakopmund, over the Erongo Mountains into the Etosha National Park and back to Windhoek with a stopover in Otjiwarongo. The accommodation in the lodges was very well chosen. We also had very experienced guides everywhere, who were able to tell us a lot about their country and showed us lots of animals. The visits to the Himba and Herero villages, which we were able to book at the suggestion of the local agency, were also interesting for us.
