I came in with my W 108. From the very first contact, I realized that Klassik Beyer was a competent partner. A very targeted troubleshooting then took place during a test drive. Thus unnecessary work and thus further costs could be avoided. The repair was carried out professionally and on schedule. There is no substitute for many years of expertise. I personally found two points to be very pleasant: the friendly reception at the initial visit in Coburg with a guided tour of the workshop with interesting customer vehicles and, finally, the half-hour test drive with my own vehicle, during which Mr. Beyer rode along and explained all conspicuous features to me in detail.

Classic car fans know that this is a very emotional subject. It's not just a car...it's sooo much more.
You have many and sometimes too many questions, you criticize, you sometimes know something better, you have fears.... . We had all that and the result is just perfect. We were always taken seriously. Every question was answered professionally, work steps were described and coordinated in advance, criticism was always accepted and was also desired. We were always informed about the progress, questions were solved together. The workshop and we were in regular contact. They always took a lot of time for us, sometimes very spontaneously. There are simply professionals working on site! The advice was always impeccable! Of course, a project like this takes time and you grow together. I would never go anywhere else...I have learned to appreciate this workshop very much.

In 2021 I fulfilled a long-cherished wish and bought an Alfa Romeo Spider from 1992. The Alfa was from the body and the interior in very good condition, but had a pair of technical problems, which were among other things due to the fact that the car was the last 20 years more in the garage than driven. While searching for a suitable workshop I came across the restoration company Beyer.
All the work to be done was explained in detail in a personal meeting beforehand and then carried out exactly as discussed. I experienced commitment and great professional competence from everyone involved, so that I know my Alfa will be in good hands there in the future.
Oh yes, they are all friendly too. Just a family business.

Very high commitment to find an inexpensive as well as practical and everyday solid solution, even with always new, unpredictable problems: Very solid, creative handiwork solved problems where others despair and give up! All specialists there love their job and also hang themselves in customer vehicles, as if it were their own treasures! High transparency regarding what needs to be done and what has been done. Very honest, creditable workshop with quality - and that is just not to be had at a ridiculous price! THANK YOU for this great review. Here on this project, however, not only has a tail fin grown back together, but a relationship between our families has also been formed. What we have experienced together during the restoration has also brought us together. THANK YOU also to you. Especially this project was not easy, but we have together (with a very good preparatory work of you) this puzzle together.

In any case, we were very excited and amazed to see that after the restoration you drove to France and arrived back home about 3,000 km without any major problems.

In the meantime, you have three major tours of France behind you with the Benz and it runs except for minor things ... the Lima controller and a flasher relay have probably made problems?

SUPER - we wish such customers and such actions for these oldies, which can drive as reliable as today's vehicles!
