Lüchau is a bright, friendly and well-stocked DIY store with a large building materials section for both private customers and professionals. The professional advice here cannot be compared with the large DIY chains. The staff here are specialists and there is a solution to every problem. The range is varied and I even find all kinds of materials for my creative hobby of acrylic painting. How nice that Lüchau also has other branches (Uetersen, Halstenbek, Elmshorn and also in Hamburg Volkspark and Wandsbek and even in Vaale behind Itzehoe)
I really like buying my paints from Lüchau and enjoy being advised and served by Mr. Hintz. I would say 6 out of 5 possible stars. Once I accidentally placed my order incorrectly (via my supplier) and as a gesture of goodwill he mixed me a new color. the installation of the new, triple glazed terrace front (window & door) has worked flawlessly. I am very satisfied with the advice, support and implementation.
I was very pleased with the workmen who installed our new front door: The work was careful, clean, prudent and forward-looking.
I was not at all satisfied with the time lapse in the sales office. Apparently several weeks passed between placing the order by me and processing/forwarding it to the manufacturer. I was on the verge of canceling the order.
A bit expensive but always very well advised.
Gladly pay a higher price if the advice is right. I am not an internet buyer and prefer to look at interesting products in the market.
