Thank you very much for your professional all-round help. My PC is running "like clockwork" after a short "hospital stay" with you and the "heart transplant" with new 1 TB SSD and RAM expansion. All essential files have been rescued over from the sick hard drive. The (free) scan program you recommended is just as good as my previous one.
