We have already consulted together regarding your criticism - thank you again for that.

As we have already discussed, we have implemented the citation style according to the applicable standards that you have specified and named for us (APA). If you had wanted to use a different citation style from the one you originally specified, all you had to do was communicate this to us. In this case, we could have taken action in time to adapt the citation style to your ideas.
Unfortunately, we only learned about this through this evaluation, although there were several feedback loops and interim discussions with your project manager and your author in your project, where you would have had the opportunity to address us at any time. We can well understand that you obviously imagined the citation style differently and have now put even more work into the thesis yourself. However, since we implemented the discussed style according to current and applicable standards and we were not given the opportunity to change the style, we do not really find your criticism fair to our work. It is precisely for such adjustments and feedback that we provide for interim meetings in every project, so that you as the client can discuss your wishes with us.

We would therefore appreciate it if you would perhaps reconsider your evaluation, as in our opinion it does not reflect the value of our work and care.

Regarding your specific case, you are right that your issue was a really very specific one. As a rule, even hard nuts are by no means a problem for us, as we have well-armed experts with the necessary know-how and competence profile, especially for hard cases.

The fact that we were unable to support you in your work despite all this experience was due, among other things, to the fact that the source material on your topic consists of very few and predominantly Spanish-language sources. Since even research in several databases, online catalogs and the holdings of university libraries did little to change this, we decided together with you and your author that we could not accept the project. This decision was also made in your favor, as we would not have been able to support you satisfactorily under these circumstances.

We are very sorry that you have lost a few days as a result. Please bear in mind that we could not foresee in advance that the source situation would really be so difficult. However, since this was the case, we thought it was only fair to you to communicate this directly and openly with you.
