I first sought private advice and was tipped off by an experienced banker that the Boss offers for household contents and liability (private) were the best in my case - compared with two other providers. Both contracts can be terminated on a monthly basis and include more benefits than elsewhere without being overpriced. What I personally liked is that it is possible to reach a contact person by phone without any problems: No hanging around for days on hold, no "We are not responsible for that", no "I can't see anything in the system and don't know what to do now", which you often hear with other service providers. At Boss, someone was quickly on the line who was able to answer my questions competently and directly in a clear and friendly manner. That already helped a lot to give me a good feeling.
