It was about an investment, a bankruptcy and a claim of the bankruptcy trustee against me as an investor. CLLB offered its services in this matter on the Internet and referred to successes. I placed the order with CLLB, also because my Munich contact communicated swiftly and positively and assured me that he would be my contact in the proceedings. Which was important to me. Then, after the assignment, CLLB stopped communicating. Mails were not answered, no more reaction. At some point after I intervened, I learned that I would now be represented by a lawyer based in Berlin.
Then, in the further course of the proceedings, there was a court date. My Berlin lawyer fell ill beforehand, the planned replacement from Munich was prevented at short notice, and so CLLB called in a lawyer from outside. He was surprised by my previously communicated participation in the hearing and, incidentally, in my opinion not really in the subject. Result: Judgment for the opposing side. Subsequently: Appeal. Finally: settlement - on my initiative - to avoid the maximum damage, after the forecasts of my Berlin lawyer became increasingly gloomy.
I could have had it easier. Before. Without investing time, nerves and money. My conclusion: At no time in these proceedings did I feel adequately treated as a client. And I did not feel adequately represented in the matter either. I find it hard to believe how people treated me as a client.
