What an incredible stroke of luck by a spontaneous rebooking, because the originally planned program for the class trip (4.Klasse) had to cancel.
We had 2 happy eventful days with Bodhi, great projects with burning bowls, making fire (in the evening the campfire was lit by the children themselves, which tested the patience of the children. But what an experience when it finally works out and you have done it yourself!!!), archery, spear throwing, building scout sleeping bags and baking bread on the campfire and especially experiencing a lot of pure nature. The weather also played along wonderfully with sun and warmth.
The children were infected by Bodhi's enthusiasm for nature very quickly (we teachers and also) and learned a lot about nature, life and the respectful treatment of it. (And by the way also the respectful contact with each other). Bodhi also answered all the questions of the children and let them (and us) make wonderful experiences in and with nature. His calm manner made us all feel very comfortable and the children developed an undreamt-of perseverance in completing the tasks. Unanimous opinion on the second and unfortunately also last evening at the campfire: The time was much too short, there are still so many ideas and projects we would like to do!!! We will continue a lot of things at home (that wood can become sooo soft if you grind it, I will go on with that) and show the parents and siblings and nobody will take the experiences we made away from us anyway.
And when the 'wild horde' after the class trip in and with the 'wild Eifel' told the parents about the experiences, all eyes shone enthusiastically, despite the tiredness.
A big and heartfelt thank you to Bodhi, also for the spontaneous use, gladly again and also gladly planned, that increases the anticipation :D
