It was a really great experience! I met great people, "Anglos", students and staff. It was incredibly intense, but also effective. It was debatable during the course whether learning common idioms was absolutely necessary. Many students simply had the problem of not knowing enough vocabulary. In their opinion, learning vocabulary should be the first priority, before moving on to common idioms. However... everyone is probably a little bit right. Just cramming vocabulary is certainly up to everyone. If Englischhausen manages to fill this "gap" with their concept, I would give them full marks. Yes, then I would gladly come again, given the not insignificant costs that I have borne myself.

On the whole, my expectations were fully met. Above all, the "Anglos" from all corners of the world and different professions contribute to the success of Englischhausen. What I would personally like to see is 1 hour of the 12 hours per day being spent on vocabulary - cramming vocabulary.

I spoke a lot of English during this time and noticed that I was getting better at it day by day. In addition to the English language, I also learned a lot about people, other characters and cultures - which shows me how important it is to be able to communicate outside the German-speaking world. EnglischHausen is a great opportunity to immerse myself in the English language without having to travel too much.

A great way to get back into speaking English and practicing listening comprehension. Unfortunately, my English vocabulary has fallen asleep, which is why I found it difficult to speak. I was able to benefit the most from the "one to one". Working in groups was too fast for me (given my level of English).
All in all, it was a great idea to create an English bubble in Germany.

Right from the start, I was impressed by the good atmosphere and the friendly, warm-hearted interaction.
It was a good experience for me that I was both challenged and encouraged in my work.
I also really liked the variety of activities on offer.
I can highly recommend Englischhausen at any time and would like to take part again.

Learn "English"? Nonsense. We traveled the world every day, through all the languages on earth that claim to be "Anglo", from Tasmania to Scotland. When can you do that with zero air miles, except in Englischhausen. Spooky but perfect. :-)

It was a mega experience and is a unique concept with wonderful people. I am incredibly grateful to have had this experience!

The only negative criticism:
In my opinion, too little time is sometimes planned for the individual tasks so that you can first understand them with a little more calm and get to grips with them. I, for example, am not a spontaneous, quick-witted person and need time to find answers and prepare myself.

The service staff at the accommodation were great, everyone was really friendly. However, the group room is not particularly comfortable. The technical equipment could also be modernized.
Unfortunately, the heating was also faulty and a few rooms were freezing cold, which unfortunately could not be rectified...

1. it was supportive (which I think is really good) & super intense
2. it was never boring :-)
3. the tasks were varied and interesting
4. the soul of the course Sandra and perfect organizer Susanne made this course unforgettable. It is a very important aspect. Thank you for that!
5. i met very interesting people and learned many interesting things about another culture. It is very exciting. You don't have such an experience (almost) in any vacation.
6. if I would have time or possibility to participate in such a course, I would do it anytime! Thank you for that!
