The ETL 500, ETL 700 and ETL 1200 models use fiber lasers with 20 to 70 watts. The pulse frequency of the laser unit can be set from 25 to 200 kHz optionally up to 1000 kHz. With a standard marking field size of 110 mm x 110 mm, the device can optionally be adapted to other marking field sizes. The write head achieves a write speed of up to 8000 mm/s.
In all models, the "useful space factor (NR)" is optimized, i.e. the ratio of the footprint to the interior area is as large as possible. The markings are durable, reproducible and visually appealing. The value of the components is emphasized by the marking.
Last but not least, the company uses environmentally friendly fiber laser sources with a wavelength of 1064 nm. Maintenance-free air cooling requires only a fraction of the energy needed to operate older laser systems. This noticeably reduces energy costs in production.

Metals such as tool steel, soft, hardened, nitrided, burnished, coated, painted or hard metal as well as stainless steel can be engraved very well. Aluminum, brass and titanium can also be marked well. Of course, it is possible to mark individual components with pinpoint accuracy. For metal parts made of steel and stainless steel, a high-contrast black marking can be produced by tempering. Markings can be applied to plastic parts by discoloring, foaming or carbonizing. Laser foils can also be marked.
EVOTECH lasers realize markings on plastic housings or plastic components, circumferential markings on turned parts, engravings of type plates, marking with position orientation, marking of HSS tools and painted operating elements, deep engraving of graphite and much more.
With the marking software EVOSOFT, the markings can be realized by Windows fonts, circle text, serial numbers, data matrix code, QR code, bar code, etc. Objects can be freely scaled and graphics can be integrated in all common formats.
