I have worked with other mud vacuums and the Mud Witch is really a pleasure. Sucks reliably and also the handling with the filter is good. It is worth choosing the XL version with the larger filter, even if the pond is not so large.
The mud witch is assembled from standard robust parts. I.e. it probably won't win a design prize, but the components are much more robust than other vacuums and very pragmatic and purposefully implemented. You can tell that the developer comes from the machine industry and only uses robust components.

However, it is very time-consuming to clean a larger pond (about 15 m³) with this small mud witch, although the size is recommended for this pond. Since I imagined the time required (several hours) less.

I am not satisfied with the suction power! The device is n.m.E. hardly suitable for larger ponds!

We found the Mud Witch on the internet, looking for a better version of the Pondovac, which annoys us with its volume. The package arrived quickly, the size of the pump surprising, can be rolled around well on the car. Biggest plus: the volume, or rather, the whisper-quiet gram of the motor, right after that the suction power, it's phenomenal. The operation takes some getting used to, a certain minimum of physical strength is urgently needed, no problem for me, although 66 years old. In some cases it would be good if a 2nd person gives assistance. E.g. if you want to open or close the 8 liter collection container, the platform trolley immediately turns with it, you have to fix the trolley with the legs, the wheels are unfortunately not fixable, there is also the problem that it immediately rolls away at a slight incline. The handling of the pond suction you have to learn, different attachments govern each quite differently, mostly you have to guide the brushes with firm pressure. Also be sure to never take the suction hose out of the water, because then an air bubble interferes with the function. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Everything worked out as agreed over the phone. Advice was also in order. Would buy again from this company.
