The Burgrieden Festival is a dream come true in the Karl May Festival world!
The conversion of the book into a stage play is very creative and, in my opinion, almost perfect.

The performance and the fireworks were very successful. What I can't understand are the food prices, which are simply too high for the service provided. The ticket prices are also slowly reaching a level where I'm thinking about coming back. I liked the voucher promotion, so I have booked again for next year.

Unfortunately, the costs in every area have risen so much that we have to pass the prices on to our guests.
The quality on stage can only be achieved with professionals and professional horses, and they all have a price.
In catering, too, we are faced with the bitter question of whether we should be supplied by regional butchers and caterers or whether we should be using goods from industrial freezers in the future. Regionality and quality have their price, and our numerous employees also deserve a fair wage.

The voucher campaign for 1000 guests at 23 euros is also of immense value! And is not a matter of course. It's a shame to have lost you as a guest in the future. MfG Claudia Huitz

Great stage, lots of action and a very nice autograph session at the end. Only the toilet situation for the ladies during the interval was not entirely satisfactory... But otherwise everyone was thrilled and we are looking forward to next year!

I really enjoyed the performance. The only negative thing is the appearance of Winnetou. In contrast to the imposing appearance and convincing demeanor of Old Shattehand's actor and the charisma of the actors in the other main roles, Winnetou's performance falls well short. The actor shows no charisma and has little charisma. In itself, the role should be portrayed as a leading role. It came across as a minor supporting role. It is questionable whether the actor can do more here.
The dynamics created by the riders with their rapid rides in front of the audience are also worthy of note.

**Rating for "Unter Geiern" at the Burgried Festival**
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️

The acting was once again outstanding, just like last year. This year, however, the play seemed a little more challenging to us, possibly because we no longer have such fond memories of the original. Last year, we felt more transported back to our youth.
Nevertheless, it was a great experience and we are already looking forward to next year - the tickets for the last performance have already been bought!

My grandson and I look forward to the new season every year (for the last 4 years :-) ). The friendliness of the whole team is unparalleled. The actors are so passionate about what they do, you rarely find that. The tickets for 2025 are already reserved.

The customer service only received 4 stars because there is no bratwurst or steak in a roll. French fries would of course also be great.
The western atmosphere when entering the premises or during the break could be improved. Contramusic at an audibly pleasant
volume would also be great.
A western atmosphere must be created right from the start.
And now yippee, dear!!!

Unfortunately, neither steaks nor fries are feasible in the catering sector. It is not possible to serve 1000 guests with these products in 25 minutes and the quality of the steaks would be a disaster.

We were at the Derniere, everything was great as always! Only when the riders rode past, it was very dusty at times, which is not great for people with respiratory problems. Maybe a bit of watering beforehand would probably be better...

Overall, I think the festival in Burgrieden is very good.
However, I could imagine that a new director would bring in new ideas.
Gradually, everything seems to be done in the same way.
Does it always have to be Karl May? Can't other themes also be brought to such a big stage?
In any case, I will be back next year with my children and grandchildren.

The festival in Burgrieden lives from this outstanding team that works backstage and on stage year after year. You have a lot of potential to offer even more before the performances, e.g. face painting for children, more stores with toys and jewelry (no junk from China)... but I'm probably not telling you anything new.
We wish you all the best and keep our fingers crossed that the Burgrieden Festival will be around for a long time to come. ✊🏻

Perhaps a little tip: one receipt per drink and not per order. In our group (9 adults and 7 children) we lost a few drinks because the children handed in all the receipts and they were not (always) crossed off.
Otherwise everything was great.
