In preparation for obtaining the BZF1 in Berlin, I booked several hours of private instruction, each with Jan and Tim. I have described my request before the lessons and both Jan and Tim have prepared well for the lessons, in which they have provided me among other things also the airfield maps necessary for the lessons.
I found the lessons themselves to be highly professional and very enjoyable in terms of the dynamic. Both of them recognized my weaknesses relatively quickly and explained in detail the areas I should work on (esp. paying attention to clearances not yet given ;)) and then trained extensively on them. It was also covered the wide range of possible cases that could be asked in the BZF1 exam.
I passed the BZF1 exam in Berlin at the first attempt and it was only during the exam that I realized how good and, above all, goal-oriented the private lessons were. I particularly credit the guys that we could find relatively short notice, even on weekends, dates for the lessons, which is not self-evident.
In any case, top marks and warmest recommendation for prospective and existing pilots. I will definitely book one or two additional lessons in the future as a refresher.
