Dear Gateway Team,
We booked a three-week individual modular round trip to Peru (Cusco, MachuPicchu, Lake Titicaca, Amazon lodge) and Bolivia (La Paz and Salar de Uyuni with lagoon tour), which was completely customized to our wishes and has now been carried out in summer 2024.
There were no complications during the trip and all modules could be carried out as booked. The organization of the trip was perfect before and during the trip. The local agency was always available (in English) and responded immediately to all inquiries. The support was also impeccable. As our luggage was not delivered by the airline until three days later, we also had to rely on the local agency. They also helped us quickly and were very helpful overall. To summarize, we can highly recommend Gateway Latin America/Gateway Brazil for individual trips (modular system),
because it allows a lot of flexible and customized itineraries. Of course, we will book our next trips there again, probably to Patagonia, because the quality, the pleasant support and advice in putting together the trip (many thanks to Ms. Beyer-Thó), the reliability of implementation, the price-performance ratio and the competent local contacts (English) are a perfect match.

We spent 9 days on the two Galapagos islands of Santa Cruz and Isla Isabela. The trip that Judith Seeck booked for us went smoothly from start to finish. Our trip through the Andes was very well organized. The selection of local partner companies and the associated local guides was very good. Individual wishes and requests before and during the trip were always dealt with immediately and to our complete satisfaction. It was a great trip and we would book it again and again.

Our family of four was in Argentina and Rio de Janeiro during the Easter vacation 2024. Thanks to gateway, we had a wonderful and extremely interesting trip.
My husband was in Buenos Aires for a few days on business and the family joined us at the start of the vacation. We were in Buenos Aires, Salta, Iguazu and Rio. The whole trip with flights, the itinerary, the hotels and the excursions was planned individually and revised again and again after consultation. During the long planning process, Ms. Singh in particular always gave us competent, individual and reliable advice, made suggestions, realistically estimated the time and route planning, gave lots of tips, answered questions and was very patient with requests for changes and hesitant decisions on our part. Everything went like clockwork during the trip. The flights, transfers and excursions all went without a hitch. We were always informed in good time by the local agencies about pick-up times, etc. The hotels were really great, comfortable and centrally located. It made sense for us to plan relatively few excursions and more time at leisure. Sometimes we would have liked more specific information about the excursions (duration, required clothing, exact itinerary). Overall, we are extremely satisfied with gateway, the expert advice and the actual execution of the trip. If we were to plan a similar trip, we would definitely contact gateway again.

We decided to book travel modules at short notice and were very well looked after by Gateway Latin America.
In response to our request to book a ferry, we immediately received the information we urgently needed in Costa Rica. We would book with Gateway Latin America again and can only recommend them.

Ms. Seeck planned our trip (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama) very well and the implementation was also very good (including the cooperation with the local partners). We had a great time and can recommend Gateway Latin America 100%. :-)

Navigation system with programmed route + additional tips
Gateway's service is and was perfect all round, so I would highly recommend it. And if I were to travel to Latin America again, Gateway would be my first choice.

Our first trip with Gateway, but it won't be our last. Together with the team, especially Ms. Sloan (thank you!), we planned an individual Argentina rental car trip with flights and bus stages in between from Iguazú to Ushuaia right from the start, partly based on memories of a previous trip. Despite having seven weeks, it was not possible to fit in everything of interest, but we managed to put together an almost perfect mix of sightseeing, driving routes and rest days.
The Argentinian partner agency was incredibly reliable, the choice of hotels from hostal to luxury house was superb and always good for a - positive - surprise.

We opted for the Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego trip. The modules offered with the selection of (boutique) hotels was very good. All the program points offered were well executed. We mainly had private guides or small groups. The trip was great for getting to know each other. Individuality was also possible, especially with the rental car trip in Torres del Paine National Park and in the trekking area around El Chalten. For an overview in three weeks, it could hardly have been better. Now I would want to do the W-Trek in Torres del Paine. And that's what Gateway offers. :-) Many thanks to Mrs. Beyer To, but also to Mrs. Sloan, who also looked after us perfectly during the trip.

2023 was our third time in South America after 2015 and 2019 and we visited Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia. The trips were always put together according to our wishes and the recommendations of Gateway Brazil and it was a special experience for us every time. We could fully rely on the destinations, hotels, guides and pick-up times at the hotels and airports specified in the tour description. We also never had the impression that there could be any problems in terms of safety. The people in these countries were always very hospitable. I traveled alone with Gateway Latin America for the 2nd time this year and would do it again and again. The trip was put together and booked individually according to my wishes. Everything went really well. Gateway Latin America is also always available with an emergency service and takes care of all problems quickly and reliably. I would also award more stars if I could.

I have booked a customized trip to the Pantanal in September 2023.
My expectations regarding the accommodation in the lodge (Ueso Pantanal), the on-site support and also the stay during a multi-day jaguar tour on the ship Chalana have been exceeded by reality. The guides on site, especially Peter, are immensely dedicated and knowledgeable. As a result, I was able to observe numerous animals (from anteaters to jaguars, among others) and this trip has become an unforgettable experience for me.
