I personally strongly advise against hiring Mr. Freund as a lawyer. Mr. Freund was instructed by me in the legal field of inheritance law. A few weeks after his appointment, there were changes in the case, whereupon I kindly asked Mr. Freund for an amicable termination of the mandate. In this context, I naturally offered him appropriate remuneration for the services he had provided so far. This was rejected by him and he only wanted to agree to the termination after payment of approx. 90% of the full remuneration according to the RVG in accordance with the value in dispute. Since I did not want to agree to this offer, I asked Mr. Freund to act as an advisor on my legal issues with monthly installments until the full remuneration was paid. He was completely dissatisfied with this relationship and answered my inquiries more than half-heartedly and also did not accept the installment payments. He demanded the full fee within two weeks and threatened to sue for it if necessary after resigning from the mandate. Even before the deadline he had set, the dunning notice from the central dunning court in Wedding arrived. Even after the dunning notice had been paid in full, Mr. Freund maintained a further claim for default interest in the amount of EUR 0.92(!) and also demanded this.
As you can see, Mr. Freund is not interested in your case and good cooperation with his clients, but only in his remuneration. Trust in the experience of a client who has been bruised and who only wants to protect you from the same experience.
