We had to replace our old, failure-prone heating system this year. We then had the Graf company advise us on both the technology and the funding opportunities through KfW and finally decided on a new gas heating system again, but this time with an additional electric heat pump for the hot domestic water. In the process, we were also made aware of the possibility of optimization through a photovoltaic system.
