You were recommended to us by our dog breeder and therefore had our complete trust without prior knowledge.
We gave our dachshund into their hands without even being informed by you about what would be done to the dog. We were also completely unaware of the cost. We did not find out the price until after the treatment. Since it was a 7 month old puppy, probably not too much fur was removed. This may be fine, but we would have expected at least a brief explanation. This was also completely missing. Our dog now looks a little shaggy and disheveled again, so that other dog experts have reacted with incomprehension that the little one was just in treatment.
Conclusion: we were not satisfied.
They called us as a possible further date in approx. 4 months. According to others, this would be much too late, because our dog still has too much soft fur.
Oh well, we will still visit them for a second appointment and briefly address these points then. As dog owners, we certainly have to take it upon ourselves not to have sought this advice on our own. So maybe it was also up to us.
