I switched from being an employee to being self-employed and therefore had to change or take out some new insurance policies. The topic of private health insurance, Rürup pension and co were foreign to me until then and the variety of rates and options was an opaque jungle. I decided to go to an insurance consultant. Since I generally compare, I turned to Martens & Prahl and an alternative provider. Martens & Prahl made me three offers for all insurances, the other one only one offer because he is not a broker but works for an insurance company. The premiums, e.g. for health insurance, were considerably lower with Martens & Prahl for the same benefits. And the return on the Rürup pension was higher, the acquisition costs lower... I would also not have thought that I would have to adjust the amount of my occupational disability pension, since my monthly fixed costs would increase significantly due to the contributions that I now pay to health and pension insurers myself. In general, I have noticed a clear difference in the advice of my two chosen insurance consultants, from Martens & Prahl I also got many practical tips for self-employment since (as I now know) an insurance broker is also an independent company and the other consultant is an employee of an insurance company. In summary: Price / performance and advice at Martens & Prahl really top! The human chemistry is also right. I would use you again :-) Thank you!
