One of MykoTroph's most important tasks is to provide free, individual advice. People are advised by telephone on all health and nutrition issues relating to medicinal mushrooms. Specially trained veterinary practitioners are available at the... institute for animal patients.
Another important task of MykoTroph is the ongoing research into the effects and applications of medicinal mushrooms. To this end, the institute evaluates scientific studies from all over the world and collects field reports from holistic medicine and naturopathy. Every two years, a delegation from MykoTroph takes part in the "International Congress for Medicinal Mushrooms", where the latest studies and developments on the use of medicinal mushrooms are presented and discussed. Thanks to the Institute's research and educational work, mushroom medicine is becoming increasingly important in naturopathy and alternative medicine in our country.
Thanks to the wealth of experience in traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathy as well as the comprehensive findings from international scientific studies and numerous successful treatments, reliable statements can be made about the effectiveness of medicinal mushrooms.
The Institute's other tasks naturally include communicating the knowledge gained. With the growing interest in medicinal mushrooms, the interest in information about their possible uses in prevention and therapy is also increasing. MykoTroph makes the knowledge it has gathered available to both laypeople and therapists interested in health through training courses and information events, information leaflets, brochures and specialist articles. In addition, regular lectures are held on mycotherapy, its application and the therapeutic options with medicinal mushrooms.
