As a peer counselor in the sense of ex-in recovery support and workshop trainer, I use my own crisis and especially recovery experience as a resource and offer a real-life counseling approach that can complement therapeutic and medical treatments.... It is NOT a substitute for therapy or consultation with a psychiatrist:in! I am happy to provide counseling on topics including depression, anxiety disorders, therapy procedures, finding a place in therapy, self-injurious behavior, support groups, resilience, and self-help strategies.
