Peter Wrede Yacht Refits is the specialist for spray painting and underwater hull refurbishment of yachts. With the expertise of more than 30 years, the Wrede crew applies its knowledge in modern equipped painting and steel facilities at four locations in northern Germany (Hamburg - Neustadt/Lübecker Bucht - Kappeln/Schlei - Greifswald).

The advice is really good, with guided boatyard tours to explain the individual work processes, I always had the feeling that my boat was in the best hands. I can't say anything about the long-term quality yet, but I'm pretty sure that it will meet my expectations. Of course the price is steep at first, but I believe that the result and the price are in harmony.
I would like to emphasize the very good customer communication from Mr. Brix, Böhnecke and Erdmann, who were friendly, competent and accessible at all times and gave unsolicited progress reports on the project and supplemented them with photos. The uncomplicated coordination with the service providers involved for the transport logistics and with the shipyard was also very pleasing.
We had our small cruiser for osmosis restoration at Peter Wrede Yacht-Refit. We were absolutely satisfied from the consultation to the execution. All in all, a great job. We felt very well looked after and we can recommend the company with a clear conscience.

Absolutely top performance! The ship was repaired and painted to our complete satisfaction. We were constantly kept up to date on the progress of the ship. The process was seamless!
I would bring a boat to this boatyard again. The whole team is helpful. Everything went as discussed and the result is convincing.
I took the boat to Hamburg to the shipyard's jetty for osmosis restoration. After stripping, I dismantled some parts of the underwater hull.
I was able to pick up the boat again 4 weeks later.
I then took the opportunity to ask a local Volvo specialist to take a look at the engine and drive.
The whole team is goal-oriented and helpful.

For many years (first painting of the hull in 1991)
we have been with Peter Wrede with our Sagitta 35.
Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever and so the hull, superstructure and cockpit have already been painted several times at Wrede. The mast has also been painted twice.
There have never been any points of criticism!
We always had and still have a very good feeling when the boat has to go to Peter Wrede again!
Competent advice and always an open ear for our wishes regarding the work are also a reason to go to Peter Wrede again and again!
The fact that we can dismantle and install fittings etc. ourselves is another reason why we can absolutely recommend Peter Wrede Yachtrefit!!!
Logistics and service are very good . Our yacht looks perfect with the Wrede paint even after 8 years . Easy care and lightfast , no chalking , just beautiful !
Good work from the consultation to the execution. We were always informed and certain work steps were sent to us directly via photos. Thus, everyone was always in the picture.
We have given our boat for painting the freeboard in the hands of the painters of Peter Wrede. From the quotation to the processing to the acceptance, we were completely satisfied. At all times we had a contact person who dealt with our questions in a friendly, patient and competent manner. In the end, the result even exceeded our expectations. The quality of the work is commendable.
The work to be done was discussed in detail with Wrede and a detailed offer for the planned work followed.
A time window was set and this was also adhered to exactly.
During the work, a defect was discovered on the rudder and this was communicated immediately. Together, a solution was sought and found.
All work processes were recorded in pictures and handed over to me.

What the coating in the end "can", I can only say when the boat comes outside water. So get back to me at the end of the season.
Good preliminary discussions enabled me to better understand the risks of such a project and to carry out preliminary tests (grinding tests) myself. During the implementation, I liked the ongoing communication and coordination very much. Through phone calls and photo updates I was always informed, could ask questions and always got an answer immediately. As a result, the project was completed earlier than planned and I didn't have to pay an extra euro. Am really very satisfied with the project and the contacts in Wedel!
Two points are particularly worth mentioning:
1. the excellent telephone consultation as well as the reporting on the status of the work by Mr. Brix.
2. the color selection by the employees in Greifswald to match the existing color tone.
I would definitely recommend the Peter Wrede company.
