The centerpiece of this trip could not be executed as planned due to an interruption of the railroad line. The refunds of the prepaid not received services are in clarification, so I can not make a final assessment.

Had problems with booking - consultant on the phone was very friendly and helpful.
Trip was well organized by Railtour.
Hotel Albe Bastille in Paris I would not recommend - quite noisy at night (pub in the neighborhood).

Everything worked out wonderfully for the whole trip. The hotels were both fine. Friendly and courteous service. The day with the Glacier Express was great. Excellent and friendly service. The food was great. A wonderful day whereby the beautiful weather has contributed a significant part. Thank you very much!

The hotel was original, very clean, top location. The morning meal was served to us at La Ménagére. A great place and a fine breakfast. No buffet but we could choose and it was served to our table. The tour guide Mrs. Marta Mazzantini, a sympathetic guide. We can also recommend her with pleasure.

Unfortunately, the Matterhorn was never visible due to snowfall and fog. Instead, we had summer temperatures again in the Engadine. We can highly recommend the Hotel Butterfly in Zermatt. Is very quiet and central, a few steps from the train station. The hotel made a good impression on us. Clean nice rooms, friendly staff, small but nice breakfast buffet. In Engadin, we did not choose any of the suggested hotels because we did not want to stay in St. Moritz. But the offer of free use of public transport and trains - from 2 nights - we once again took full advantage. Unfortunately, there is no such offer in Zermatt and the trains are very expensive. There one is glad about a half-fare card or my colleague from Germany had a SwissTravelPass. The train ride with the Glacier Express was pleasant, the food good and the staff friendly and attentive.

The consultant was very helpful and friendly. I was very well advised and within a very short time everything was handled smoothly. The tickets and itinerary as well as the hotel bookings were sent to us by email within a very short time. We were very surprised. Thank you very much for this great service.

The booking for six people to Turin was very straightforward for us because Railtour did everything: Timetable, tickets, reservations, hotel. Questions were answered quickly. Even the question about the detour over the Gotthard instead of through the base tunnel (closed for passenger traffic due to an accident) was answered straightforward: in fact, no new tickets and reservations were needed. Simply an hour earlier departure. Exactly as we were told by Railtour.

The SBB has - due to construction work - problems with reliability in the Rhine Valley. On our request, we immediately received a confirmation and solution for this problem.
Answers in a pleasant German without ingratiation, etc..
