Would be alerted to any problems with tires and rim, so I could still have the defect fixed in time before the tire change in my garage.

Keyword " lack of advice": when I bought my winter rims, I attached particular importance to the protection of the rims by a pronounced rubber edge on the tire. However, this was nullified in the recommended tire model by the fact that the rim already overhangs this rubber edge and the spokes protrude even further outward, so that a close parking at the roadside is pretty much excluded. Scuffing is thereby pre-programmed.
