To all future drummers who may still be hesitant:
I can recommend Rudi's beginners' course without reservation. His methodology/didactics and his personality are very convincing and I particularly enjoy the complete flexibility in terms of time during the learning units. Of course, I think it is very helpful if you have a certain amount of self-discipline and set yourself a personal time target.
I started at the tender age of 59, before that I unfortunately didn't have enough time for this great hobby. I am now on week 12 of the course and am confident that I will successfully complete the entire course.

Rudiments - I had heard that they are important, but where to start - and how can the skills learned be built on each other and used in playing? This course answers all these questions, is logically structured, offers many examples per rudiment that open your eyes and ears and is therefore a great introduction to creative drumming.
With practice, you can achieve results that are really fun. In my opinion, highly recommended!

Structure of the course

I can definitely and absolutely recommend the course. It helped me a lot to develop my playing and my techniques and to improve them many times over.
Even the subject of music theory is no problem with Rudi...
Rudi is a great teacher. It's great fun to implement and learn the instructions.
The relaxed way in which Rudi explains, shows and demonstrates everything is easy to understand and very easy to put into practice. I have already bought several courses and can absolutely recommend every single one of them.

I looked around for a while, finally decided on Rudi's course and haven't regretted it for a second: a very good investment, in my opinion! The course is very structured, motivating and I have the feeling that I'm making good progress. Rudi's course is just right for me!

A successful course all round. I'm 63 and a newcomer. I'm making wonderful progress. There is still a long way to go, but I think that with Rudi I will have fun (very important in life) and be successful.

An extremely solid beginner course with addictive potential. The course includes as much theory as necessary and is packed with easy to implement practical tips, which build on each other.
The way Rudi communicates is understood even without prior knowledge of music. It is challenged, motivated but also points out possible stumbling blocks. Thus it is always clear what the purpose of an exercise is. This fact helps me enormously to maintain my own discipline.

Do you still have to learn drums at 50? Family, house and yard, many hobbies, very busy at work...
You don't have to, but you can! Thanks to Rudi and this course I dared to do it.
I think the course is great. It is didactically super structured, only discipline you have to bring.
New courses are released weekly, so there's no cheating or just being curious and letting yourself be thrown off track. I particularly like the fact that the course remains activated even after the year is over. If you don't have time to practice for a week or two, that's not dramatic, but the course is simply extended.
The service is great! If your understanding does not keep up with Rudi's explanations, just send a short mail to Rudi and he will explain it to you again in other words. So I could remove one, two "boards" before the head.
Should I ever have to go to Lake Constance on vacation, I will definitely treat myself to presence lessons with Rudi.
I am looking forward to the Fill-In-Box.
I have definitely found a new and great hobby!

The drum course is perfect for beginners. I have a lot of fun with it. The lessons are easy to understand and implement.

Rudi explains everything very competently and in detail. He is an excellent and motivating drum teacher with a lot of experience. The weekly programs are very varied. The course is didactically very well structured.

The compact course is structured very systematically and the individual learning contents are easy to implement. However, you have to develop a certain discipline - such a week goes by very quickly!
I find the consistent guidance to the warm-up's very helpful, as well as the division of the exercises in learning content on the snare drum and on the drum set.
Overall, the course is a lot of fun, although the learning progress does not come by itself.

"Pimp Your Groove" is the sensible supplement to Rudi's year-long course, which directly follows up on learned content and sets new impulses for independent, free and creative playing. Mia

I can only give my full recommendation for the Moeller course, it takes time to implement everything, but it was worth it. Rudi explained it really great and very understandable, a great teacher. Those who want to learn a different technique and want to become even faster, should treat themselves to this course!!! Have fun and Cool Drumming🥁

I have received competent answers to all my questions, with video if needed. Simply great.
I went from beginner to drummer in 4 months. I could read music before. With soon 60 years I am meha satisfied and the 2 clubs in which I play also.

After a long search on the Internet for an online drum lesson, I found the offer of Rudi Hein.
I immediately liked what and how Rudi Hein conceives the lessons. I was confirmed when I saw not only the great abundance of tutorials on Youtube / Facebook, but then by the free trial version "Schlagzeug kompakt".
The weekly structure of the lessons in warm-up, theory, snare, drumset , snare and drum solo are so vivid, uplifting and excellently structured that it was no question for me to buy the complete package " Drumset compact" ( at a fair price ! ).
( The lessons are supplemented by downloadable PDFs, music examples, playalongs, etc. )
I have not regretted it !
I had as a young man autodidactically taught myself a little drumming; but with all the mistakes you can make. And then didn't play for years. So I was a beginner when I started Rudi Hein's lessons.
Now, after almost a year of "playing" my playing has improved considerably:
I can play by notes; know a lot about stick position, hand position, rudiments, Moeller technique, fills etc. and can -thanks to the great online lessons- practice specifically on them.
As feedback ( control ) for my progress and mistakes, I can contact Rudi Hein via live video lesson, via messenger and especially via "presence lesson".
A lesson at his home was a "highlight" for me.
With great dedication, pedagogical skill and completely without time pressure !!, Rudi Hein made a lot of effort and proved to be a sympathetic, great teacher and musician.
Such a lesson "on the spot" is ( almost ) worth every trip !!!

The Moeller course is suitable for intermediate to advanced drummers and includes sophisticated step-by-step instructions directly for playing along. The special thing about the course is that the technique is also applied to drum set playing. A recipe for success. Rudi's videos leave no questions unanswered - and if you do, you get an answer to every question. I actually play looser and faster now - thanks Rudi! Your online courses are simply sensational!

The online course "Moeller Technique" can be taken by slightly advanced beginners as well as by graduates of the online year course. The trainer Rudi Hein explains sticking from the ground up, so that beginners can get started without any problems. By the end of the course, the Moeller technique is worked out in all details, so that even graduates of the online year course will achieve a significant improvement and deepening of skills. For me, Part 5 in particular, where you learn to use the Moeller technique on the drum set, is outstanding. I improved my hi-hat playing by leaps and bounds within a very short time. The course can be recommended without reservation. Especially at the sensational price.
