smartsteuer offers an online solution for the annual tax return. Users are guided and supported through the tax return on the basis of an interview. I had already tried other income tax programs for my husband and me who live separately. Smartsteuer is the most user-friendly program that also offers much more than others that charge the same fee. Among other things, the notification by mail that the tax return has been processed by the tax office and the possibility to get for 10.00 euros in addition already the specific refund in experience. Highly recommended! !
I'm thrilled, because as a loaner it's not easy to understand and fill out everything correctly. With Smartsteuer it's almost child's play! I will gladly continue to use the offer!

After initial difficulties getting used to it, no problems filling it out. You are guided well through the individual attachments to the tax return and always have the expected tax refund in front of your eyes. Next year I will use Smart Tax again to complete my tax return.
I am very satisfied overall. In individual points (deductibility of study) are missing in my opinion possibilities of entry (monthly payments of incidental expenses, depreciation of office furniture over several years ...). Otherwise great!
Overall smartsteuer is really good. The interview type makes it easy to understand, however, you could have the selection of forms e.g. capital gains,.... Also by asking through the program select, because so I still had to google needed forms for special cases. But the support was really fast and kkompetent.
I have managed without customer service so far, because the examples and instructions for the individual points are informative and understandable. I would not change anything, improve is not necessary in my opinion.
Super easy to use, every single step is really well explained and totally understandable, even for those (like me) who have no experience at all with control.
