Exactly how you imagine a friendly consultation, all questions were answered and nothing was glossed over. I felt very well taken care of.

The consultation was very friendly, the communication by phone and email always flawless. The procedure went very well, I had no side effects except for nausea. I was very well.
Next month the intragastric balloon will be removed after one year.
Unfortunately, I have not lost a single gram of weight. I spent a lot of money, unfortunately no success. After three months I finally resigned myself to it, so that the frustration does not break me.
Too bad, I would have so gladly accepted.

I have deliberately waited longer with this evaluation, because I also wanted to say something about the result. I decided to have an Endo Sleeve (OverStitch procedure) last year in October and everything went very well from the first consultation to the surgery and the day in the clinic and the follow-up appointment. The entire staff in Dortmund was always friendly and professional. All my questions (and I had a whole list) were answered and there was always a contact person. My first contact was Julius Imort, whom I would like to thank once again, as he responded quickly to every e-mail from me and took very good care of me. Even when I had problems with my gall bladder a few weeks after the operation and the clinic that was treating me wanted to have an okay from the Weight Doctors including a gastroscopy first, the team made a quick appointment for this possible and they put my "control gastroscopy" in their plan in between. All was well with the sleeve and the other clinic was able to remove my gallbladder.
About the gastric surgery itself:
The first 2-3 hours after the surgery are really "sorry" shit, but from then on it only goes uphill 😅. Pain I had hardly, if rather a pressing feeling in the stomach in the first days. At first I had some "bammel" before the strict diet plan, especially in the first 14 days. But that was completely unfounded, I had almost no appetite and so it was easy to cope. The rest of the reintroduction to eating also went super according to plan. You learn to eat again and to be more active again, so to speak. If you stick to everything and maintain what you have learned after the first few weeks, the pounds will fall off by themselves.
Now to the result: After 31 weeks I have lost 40.1 kg, which makes me very proud and gives me a motivational boost every time I weigh myself. In the whole time I have never been hungry, because now I feel again when I am full. I very rarely have "cravings" for something, since I eat, I think, balanced and protein-rich. I am much more active again than I was six months ago and have rarely had "stagnation" on the scale in that time. Overall, the decision to have the surgery was more than right for me, despite the costs involved. I would do it again and again. A few kilos I would still like to lose (10-20kg would be great 😉) but that will work out, then it goes to holding so that I never carry so much ballast with me again.

Apart from a lot of hardship and high costs, I had no positive experience. Unfortunately, the gastric balloon has no effect on me. Result = 1 kg weight gain and an empty account.

First of all, I would like to say that I was very satisfied with the consultation in advance, it was always answered friendly with an open ear to questions.

The surgery went well so far about the result can not yet judge because I had no aftercare.

Here I also come to my criticism:
Unfortunately, I was simply forgotten after the surgery. Unfortunately, there was no answer to any questions or aftercare. I have tried several attempts by mail and telephone (also with the management) and have not received any feedback. This gives the impression that one is simply a paying number.

It wasn't until I reached out to my 1st counselor that I was helped along.
If I had known this beforehand, I probably would not have had the surgery here, since good aftercare is even more important in my eyes than the surgery itself.

The consultation with Mrs. Rösemann was very competent and friendly. I would definitely still like to do the treatment when the time is right!

On "people" like YOU you do not often meet in life so warm friendly and helpful the WHOLE team!!!!

After the first consultation, it was clear to me relatively quickly that I would like to have a surgical procedure here, the procedure was set in motion and a short time later the plan was in place. I was plagued by doubts whether everything would work out well, I come from the medical industry and approached the procedure with fear and apprehension, but what should I say today, 3 days after my procedure? I am very enthusiastic about how professionally everything went, I am totally satisfied with the result so far, even if the first two days were not pleasant. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the great team in Hamburg, I have felt absolutely well cared for and taken care of in every minute, my surgeon and the gasless sandman have done a great job, my colleagues Franzi and Maria also a big thank you for the good care.
