It took us years, with our limited budget, to find a nice, spacious apartment in Berlin. After we found them, they managed to find a flat for us within two months, and now we’re living in a lovely flat near Ostbahnhof in Berlin. We are forever grateful to this team and cannot recommend them enough. People, there is still hope — there is Get the flat!

Definitely a great service that I would recommend to anyone looking for a flat in Berlin (rush or no rush). In the first three weeks of using it, I got invited to 25+ viewings and got offered 4 flats - and all that matched my initial criteria (min. size, area, condition of the flat etc.).
I have to say that their service in sending out applications in real time the announcements are out and personalizing the cover letter / message is the biggest help since with work one can't always use ImmoScout or other websites and thus you miss good flats because of not being quick.

I also was told by the landlord of the flat I choose in the end, that the sent message (prepared by GetTheFlat) stood out for her as it contained a personalized "why I am looking for a flat".

I would say that a 32% of flat viewing invites on the total amount of sent applications is a great statistics that speaks in favor of GetTheFlat.

I found the service great, but it facilitates more than supports, so you still gotta do the work following the applications, but thats OK, just not sure what I can say on support as I was not sure if it was there for me But I am totally willing to recommend

Before knowing this platform existed, i was checking my Immoscount almost every 5 minutes and it was exhausting. Specially if you have a busy life, you‘re always gonna miss out on good opportunities when you’re sleep or at work. But with this service i was finally able to apply to every single add that was within my criteria without having to do anything myself, knowing that i‘m amongst the first people to apply for it. And every time i needed something to change, i‘d email support and they fixed it for me right away. Finally i was able to find a flat using this app and so it was worth every penny.

I found an apartment in just one month! If you’re new to Germany, this service is great; they guide you through the required documents and what’s important in a flat search, and they apply to listings for you in German with all the relevant information for landlords. If landlords reply, then you're the one continuing the conversation. I really recommend it if you are new here and if you don't have time to apply! :)

Trying to get a viewing to every apartment listing that comes into your inbox can be very time consuming, it became like a second job for me. Get the Flat is worth the cost if you are busy! I was invited to many viewings with their service and ended up finding the flat of my dreams in about 3 months, and I would likely have had found something sooner if I wasn't looking for something specific. Customer service is great as well - highly recommend!

So glad there is a service like Get the Flat. I would use them again in a heartbeat! The housing situation in Berlin is nothing short of brutal. The number of applications landlords get for one apartment is unbelievable. With Get the Flat, you improve your chances for landlord replies and for viewings. The onboarding process with Get the Flat could be a little more seamless. But the team was responsive to all my questions and empathetic about the search process.
