Of course, brain-based language learning is not a "miracle cure" either, but it only takes a 10-minute session/day of Step 2 "Active Listening" to learn or expand the basic vocabulary of the desired language in 20 weeks. In addition, daily "passive listening", i.e. playing the learning series in the background while doing other things, is relevant for a quick and lasting learning success.

We would also like to note that the language learning courses of Vera F. Birkenbihl were available exclusively as audio courses at the beginning, when Ms. Birkenbihl started to market them. There, of course, you had no word markings that were synchronized to the spoken text - you learned with an mp3 audio and a printed pdf. And this was considered to be the revolution of brain-based learning!
A 100% synchronization in the software function is therefore not crucial and will never be possible.

Regarding your comment "load content": possibly this is related to fluctuations in your WLAN.

Length of the learning units: unfortunately, we cannot understand your criticism of this: You learn in the 2nd step: "Active listening" only 10 minutes at a time. Then you take a break and learn another 10 minutes. You can repeat this as many times a day as it fits into your time frame.

We, Catcomp GmbH from Zurich, took over Linguajet in 2019 and built a completely new language learning platform within 1.5 years - it was launched online in fall 2020.

The Linguajet platform is now offered as a streaming service. Depending on the selected category, 1 or more languages can be used and multiple users can now operate the same account.
Currently there are 4 learning series with over 10 audio hours and 8000 unique-words per language on the new platform - and we are regularly expanding our content to offer our users the best possible variety.
For comparison: on the old platform, the basic and advanced courses contained 1.5 audio hours and 1'500 words - the offer has thus been massively expanded.

We have made a special offer to all former Linguajet customers for switching to the new platform: for a one-time small upgrade amount, they will receive unlimited lifetime access to the new platform and additionally your old courses as download.
If you were a user of the old Linguajet language courses and are interested in switching to unlimited access to the new platform, please contact our customer service: kundenservice@linguajet.com.

Also, we have changed the success check, the original "click off learned words" to "click off learned sentences", as it is more in line with the Birkenbihl language learning method (learn words in sentence context).
We are aware that this feature is currently only available in the desktop/online version. Further development of our app is in full swing and in 2023 the new Linguajet app will be available, which will also include this feature.

We will be happy to take your idea regarding clicking words and displaying the correct translation.

For your information: on the desktop version it is possible to mark sentences or sections in order to listen to them again or more often.
To do this, click on the 3 horizontal bars at the bottom right of the episode and click on "Repeat parts of text". A small green field will then appear at the top with the description that you mark the first word and the last word of your selection.

Regarding your criticism of the too high entry level, we would be happy to explain how brain-based language learning works according to the legendary Vera F. Birkenbihl.

With Linguajet you learn the language as you learned your mother tongue as a child or as you learn the language as an adult during a stay abroad - i.e.: listening-comprehension-pattering
It is an ongoing process of "hearing" to understand or speak the language and is completely different from the classical school system.

For this reason, it is not relevant with which "language level" you enter.

A small illustration: when you travel abroad, no one will ask you whether they should speak to you as a beginner or an advanced speaker.

With Linguajet you learn to converse confidently in your language of choice - you learn to understand words and grammar in sentence context.

At Linguajet you learn the language as if you were studying abroad. Words are learned in the context of sentences and there are often different translations for certain words.
