I cannot recommend Jens highly enough. My daughter suffered from such terrible exam anxiety that she dropped out of sixth form during her A-level mocks with anxiety related health problems. Two years later and Jens has given her sufficient self-belief and confidence to finally sit an A-level. I cannot overestimate the achievement this has been for my daughter and how much Jens contributed to this. He was patient, thorough, inspiring, organised and a brilliant internet find!

Jens helped our son enormously by providing the rigour he needed for his A level revision. He went from a C for his mock, to an A for his final result - which he was incerdibly pleased about, and us too.

My experience has been nothing short of transformative. I joined Olsen Tuition a year ago, and I have significantly improved my German skills. My confidence in both speaking and writing has grown tremendously.

I am so happy to have discovered this school and trust the positive reviews I found online! It has prepared me well for my German-speaking job, which I am currently starting.

Initially, I enrolled in a group class, but due to my lack of flexibility in scheduling, I switched to one-on-one classes. This decision turned out to be the best I could have made, as it allowed me to maintain consistency in my lessons.

During my time here, I have had the opportunity to learn from several teachers, including the amazing Anja, Kai, Jens, and I am currently studying with Andrea. Each of these teachers has made the lessons engaging and relatable, further fueling my interest in the language.

Over the past year, I can confidently say that my experience has been transformative, and I am so glad I decided to take these classes. I am very pleased with the school, the experience of the teachers, the flexibility of the classes, their prices and their reliability and helpfulness. From the very beginning, my experience has been excellent and continues to be so. I might just decide to remain a student here forever!

Great experience with Kai, who taught my son German. With no prior knowledge of German beforehand, Kai was always helpful in explaining basic very patiently and helped my son progress with great results. He was always flexible and accommodative with timings. It has been a pleasure for us and we will continue this.

I was taught by Annika 1 or 2 times per week between January and May in preparation for my A2 exam and I can safely say I would not have done nearly as well without her! I had decent knowledge beforehand, but she was able to solidify the foundations and clarify a lot that I did not know beforehand and was able to pass the exam with 93/100. The lessons were always enjoyable on top of that and I would always recommend her as a teacher!

I’ve been studying with Jens for 2.5 years now and can safely say that he is the best teacher in the business. I have no idea how he does it in all honesty, but before you’ve even realised that it has happened, you’re speaking German at a very high level! It’s crazy!

He is so good at calmly and comprehensively explaining things (scary German grammar especially), but also at pushing you out of your comfort zone so you quickly develop. The lessons are really enjoyable and I always look forward to my weekly class (there a lot of laughs which is a big bonus). Would highly recommend!

I have been struggling to learn German now for a few years. A few months ago, I started learning with Jens and I have been really enjoying my classes. Due to the small in-person class size, the sessions are fun and you get the one-on-one attention that you need when starting/mastering a new language. I like the practical focus of the class (speaking/listening in German) rather than a lot of time spent writing out grammatical exercises. Thoroughly recommend Olesen Tuition!

Jens is an excellent and experienced teacher. Every lesson is fun, but all aspects of German are thoroughly and clearly explained, with plenty of written and spoken exercises. Highly recommended

I have taken German lessons for several years with Jens. I have seen my reading, writing and speaking skills and confidence greatly improve and have felt encouraged to continue learning! Jens is a very kind, patient and capable teacher. He is knowledgeable and helpful, and can explain complicated grammar points in an accessible way. I have also taken a few lessons with other teachers and they were wonderful, too. I believe the cost of the tuition to be fair, as the quality of the lessons is truly outstanding and Jens adapts them to students' needs. Moreover, he is someone very easy to talk to, which is especially important if you want to practise conversation in German! Highly recommended.
