Communication with the real estate agent is always very friendly and straightforward, yet still highly professional. When I encountered a problem on the other side of the Atlantic (!), I was quickly provided with a straightforward recommendation for how to proceed—one that was also practical. After I returned, the issue was resolved promptly.

I had damage to a lens which hit a rock together with the camera due to a defective tripod clamp. So in principle it was my own fault. Pöpping Fotoversicherung handled this case to my complete satisfaction, without any ifs or buts. That's how you want a claim to be handled. The employees are easy to reach by phone and the advice is friendly and goal-oriented. I am delighted.

I have insured all my photo equipment here. My favorite lens (Canon EF 2.0 135mm) fell out of my backpack and it is a total economic loss. I submitted the invoice and the very next day I got the promise that up to the insurance limit the amount will be transferred to my account. The positive surprise was that my deductible of 250.00 EUR was waived, since I had not had a claim over a longer period of time. I really had not expected that. A fast and accommodating settlement. I can really recommend the photo insurance. R. Topel

Inquiries are answered very quickly - change requests, e.g. when purchasing new or additional equipment, are processed very quickly and the insurance coverage applies after only a few days - in the event of damage, the processing is also very fast and impeccable. Repair approvals and reimbursement are made within a few days. In such cases, you can see that you are taken seriously as a customer. An insurance company and a team that deliver what they promise.
I can unreservedly recommend this insurance company.

Perfect, fast and friendly claims handling for my repair (repair cost €1,700) of a Sony lens. There is nothing that could be improved. Felt in good and fair hands with the insurance broker Pöpping and Generali as insurer.
