The IPMA Level D course took place mainly in presence (conference rooms in the hotel). The last workshop was an online event. There was also a 1.5 hour online meeting every week to ask questions, go over assignments from practice exams, etc.
In addition to the script for the workshops, there is a Sopronis platform where various documents are provided, such as instructions for the registration process.
Mr. Raab is an open, communicative and very friendly tainer. He is able to convey the same subject matter to the audience in different ways and thus "pick up everyone". The contents were underpinned with practical examples, which were generally related to his work. I would like to see a better transfer to large-scale projects in power plant construction and more examples from other industries (then it would be easier for me to transfer my own knowledge). Mr. Raab was also available for the participants outside the workshop times and was also personally available for longer at the end of a workshop when the participants had expressed a need for this.
Unfortunately, there are a few (!) points that I could not find in the script, but which played a role in the course of exam preparation, because they were topics in the test questions of the GPM. Examples: Term "Cost histogram"; Staycey matrix.
I had decided to take the 2x 90 min. exam instead of writing a report. It was imperative to follow the trainer's recommendations, i.e. in part 2 first go through all questions and initially only work on multiple and single-choice questions, as well as questions with short answers (terms, enumerations). In the 2nd run through then the questions on the case study etc.
I can therefore recommend Mr. Raab / Sopronis. Gladly again!
Note: You should not underestimate the effort if you want to complete the course "besides work".
