Instead, however, Taifun loses itself "in love with detail" in sub-items that no one needs in everyday life!
These lead to the fact that with 100% certainty standard processes are "incorrectly" accounted for, because in the deepest Taifun madness a "tick" was not set.
So in Taifun zich material catalogs can be created and managed, but ever to find favorite articles again, is almost impossible without the article number "by heart" to know.
This also degrades the mobile connection to a "timesheet". If the installer does not have the original article number at hand, the correct article is never listed. The full text search is also useless.
The search tree is a good approach, but its structure and very time-consuming maintenance make it rather unusable.
Standard orders can be processed relatively well by the installer in the app. However, as soon as the order deviates from what is "standard" in the trade, Taiifun is completely helpless!
The result, after the shortest time of use of Taifun, is a no longer manageable "jumble" of documents, which are consequently to the financial disadvantage of the user.
"Projects" are then the "super disaster" in Taifun!
We have been working with order management programs for 20 years. Since it is possible, also with mobile versions.
Switching from our old "Access" based niche program to Taifun was supposed to be the "modern" solution. Unfortunately, we were blinded by the few good solutions.
The bottom line.
Taifun has a few good ideas, but the predominantly poor workflow makes them irrelevant.
After about 200 hours of work in Taifun, the support turned out to be the biggest plus of Taifun. This is very good! Unfortunately, it is also absolutely necessary.
Therefore, who wants to lose his operational overview after a short time is very well advised with Taifun. Who wants to collect data about the customers, with operating instructions, pictures, etc. and all that legally compliant will have his friends at Taifun.
Also, Taifun ALWAYS offers the possibility of contacting support for even the smallest applications (so that they can prove why some logical operation is not possible.....).
The company that is dependent on effective work and generating profits should thoroughly reconsider the purchase of Taifun.
