Akram Vignan

From a young age, I had a sense there was something very much missing in my experience of life, and so a desire to find spiritual enlightenment, happiness independent of circumstance, arose within. After much searching and frustration, I stumbled on Akram Vignan on a Yoga forum at the age of 21. It said “self realization in 2 hours,” which sounded way too good to be true but at that point I was willing to try, especially since there was no cost. I began reading the books and speaking with some of the people from the group, and a feeling arose within that this may actually be what I’m looking for. The Gnani Purush Deepakbhai was set to come to America in a few months and I awaited feverishly. I went and completed the Gnan Vidhi ceremony, and there was an immediate cessation of suffering. My experience became like that of watching a movie, in bliss. What my mind and body were going through did not seem to change much at first, but somehow didn’t touch ME anymore. A subtle but ultimate shift and the most profound relief. From there I began to attend the satsangs and as my understanding grew, this bliss began to permeate my entire life. The mahatmas were some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, and have helped me whenever I’m stuck. This tool of pratikraman brings so much relief whenever the suffering creeps in from some kind of misguided intention or action. The journey continues, but I feel I am home, no more searching, and that this experience will continue to grow and lead to ultimate enlightenment and freedom.

I found Akram Vignan a year ago and my life has changed for the better! I have found more peace and permanent happiness, plus my relationships have become harmonious. I took the Gnan Vidhi Ceremony and the support from the community is always there to support my continued journey in Knowing the Self: the pure Soul. It's extraordinary when you find a community that wants nothing from you and everything is free. It has a pure intention to help people discover their true Self. I am forever grateful!

I started attending the Akram Vignan meetings the middle of last year. I was hesitant at first as I have been through so many "spiritual journeys" before that always left me feeling like something was missing. After attending only a handful of meetings I began to feel this pull in my soul to learn more, to engage more, and to feel it more. I felt like i was being called to this. The more I attended and let the message speak to me the more I felt like I waws always intended to be here. My life has changed in so many positive ways since I started attending. I no longer feel overwhelmed by life. I have so much my empathy for those I do not understand. It is a feeling of being free of all the burdens of judgement and resentment. I have not attended a ceremony as of yet but I can honestly tell you this science is life changing!

From a young age, there has always been a quiet or sometimes loud voice within asking, “who are you, and who are you not?” “What are you, and what are you not?” “I am!” has always been an attractive notion, not understood, but attractive.
50 years ago, my interests drew me to religions and personal growth paths and philosophies and other pursuits of internal longing, all provoked by the unresolved, unsettled senses of simply “who am I, and what’s this all about”. I never had a sense of comfort or safety or belonging anywhere, anytime. I instinctively and intellectually sought resonance, understanding, or some settling within my mind, and what I understood to be my inner being. I was determined to know myself.
As a scientist, a physician, and a sensitive hearted person, I was drawn into so many studies and practices, seriously pursued, which left me no better off than I was at that beginning 50 years ago, a lost seeker.
A respected friend invited me to explore Akram Vignan. Gratefully I still retained seeds of hope and spiritual sensitivity which provoked me to Investigate this Akram Vignan.
I found it is a science as stated!! There are words, ideas, videos, articles, concepts, readings, teachings, knowledge- all deeply interesting, and all freely and generously available.
Incrementally, little by little, as I dug in, it seeped in by its independent truth and power. The material and the exposure invited me forward for study and investigation and understanding, consistently proving itself through satisfying my logical, scientific-mind and background. It answered numerous life questions, and explained my purpose/meaning on the Earth as a human being. Akram Vignan explained the disharmony and chaos of my own small life, the greater life of my family, and the overall life of the humans on the planet. Akram Vignan enables me to understand my suffering, and all suffering and chaos in the world, where it comes from, why it’s here its causes and resolutions! And the truth AND mechanisms of it all! Yes, amazing!
The simple practices taught by Akram Vignan prove again, and again it is sound science. This path of knowledge and its practice has lead me, literally, to the liberation of my spirit! Indeed my spirit has felt at last to trust its ability to dance for joy and to anticipate that joy can and will be tomorrow and tomorrow and forever. I have acquired a blessed, deep, indelible sense, and knowing of what can only be eternal truth. For me, it is the end of hopelessness and the absolute vivification of hope and light and peace and even the bliss that I always relegated to poetry. I am so deeply, deeply grateful.
