I think 24/7 is clearly structured, contains only the most necessary information and is very easy to read. Tim touches on the topics just enough for me to know what it's about, but he doesn't get bogged down in details. Sure, that's how he promotes his book. But it actually works ;)
With the information, I can start right away without having to think about it. I've read a few books with similar content that I ended up finding too complicated to implement or where I just never got started. It's different here. I can get started without knowing the scientific background of the method or having to read other books and papers about it.

There are one or two methods that I cannot implement in my everyday life (especially professionally), e.g. the focus question or timeboxing. Others, on the other hand, are very helpful and help me to sort things into important and unimportant. I had heard of some of them before, such as Pomodoro or Pareto, but others were new to me. I'm still in the process of finding out what really helps me best. It always depends on the situation and phase.

In short, Tim's book offers a very balanced ratio of reading effort to benefit. The price/performance ratio is also right. And it's nice and handy, so I can work with it practically.

Tim Reichel hat mit 24:7 ein herausragendes Buch über Zeit- und Selbstmanagement geschrieben, das sowohl praxisnah als auch motivierend ist. Besonders beeindruckend ist der strukturierte Ansatz: Anstatt unrealistische Methoden zu predigen, gibt Reichel umsetzbare Tipps, die wirklich in den Alltag integrierbar sind.

Sein Schreibstil ist angenehm direkt und unterhaltsam, ohne an Tiefe zu verlieren. Ich habe mir in dem Buch einige Markierungen gemacht, bei Themen die ich noch mal nachlesen will bzw. wo ich bereits von mir verwendete Methoden noch verbessern kann. Ich runde das Buch gelungen und es bietet einen guten Überblick und Hinweise zu den gängigen Effektivitätsmethoden. Ich überlege mir noch weitere Bücher von Dr. Tim Reichel zu kaufen.
