The Write Choice Club is the first permanent place I know of for authors when it comes to marketing. I've found various courses, guides, blogs and podcasts on the subject so far, but marketing is often just one of many writing-related topics covered. Here, it's all about marketing - with everything that goes with it. I think that alone is a great concept. You can now learn to write and pick up writing tips anywhere. But marketing in particular gives many of us a stomach ache, so it's important that there are places where you can learn more about it.
But the WCC offers even more than that: it's not just a knowledge platform, but also a networking platform, so you can meet like-minded people with similar interests, worries, problems, needs, fears, hopes, etc. right from the start. So you are never alone, which gives you a lot of support. In addition, you can of course start directly with the topic of networking, which is not unimportant for marketing.
Another big advantage of the WCC is that it doesn't just offer tips for your own Instagram page or instructions on how to build a website - it offers everything. It's rare to see just how complex and comprehensive marketing is. Here you can find out in concrete terms - with important and useful experts who can take you by the hand on every topic. So it's not just about promoting the book, but also about networking, bookkeeping, newsletters, social media, websites, brand building and the right mindset.
The platform itself is clearly laid out and you can find everything in one place. Yes, at the beginning you have to find your way around - as with any platform you sign up for - but I found that it goes very quickly. You can network with other authors right away and expert offers, co-working sessions, action weeks, etc. are all clearly listed.
Overall, the WCC offers a broad and, in my opinion, very unique range of services that are definitely worthwhile if you - like me - are pursuing the dream of making a living from writing and want to be well positioned in terms of marketing right from the start. A clear recommendation from me!
