Up until now, it was all about the contract.
But here, Ms. Kübra Dalman gave me excellent advice, and the plan was tailored to my—or rather, our—needs. Once all the key details were recorded—which went pretty quickly—I was able to sign the email she sent me right on my cell phone. That was it. So far, we can highly recommend Finanzschneiderei and Ms. Dalman.

I would like to offer a particularly warm recommendation for Finanzschneiderei: during a months-long ordeal of unsuccessful attempts to re-enter the German health insurance system after more than 26 years abroad, I was rejected by both my former statutory insurer and several private insurers, allegedly because of my age (over 55) or due to health issues that my doctor did not consider serious (requiring medical certificates and blood tests). Joining a private plan would have entailed very high premiums, but even that no longer seemed possible. Finally, in desperation, I called Finanzschneiderei, and after explaining my situation, I was immediately assured that re-enrollment in the statutory plan should indeed be possible (even though the insurance provider had personally and incorrectly rejected me). The representative sent me all the necessary documents, provided expert advice, and communicated with the insurance company, and now, after two months, it’s done: I’ve just received approval to rejoin the public health insurance plan! A thousand thanks to the helpful staff at Finanzschneiderei—it’s such a huge relief!

She is an open-hearted person who cares about others’ well-being and does her best to help people whenever she can. It felt more like a friend was helping me out of a tight spot.
